When your cuts over?

I started my cut 6 weeks ago by dropping my calories to 500 below maintenance, and every few weeks i have been incrementally reducing my calories further. My question for the guys that have experience cutting, when your done with your cut do you immediately increase your calories and macros back up to your maintenance level or do you slowly work your way back up to maintenance?
 
I just go back to maintenance (I’m a strongman competition), but if you’re a BB’er, that might not be sound advice, I know nutrition is exponentially more important in BB.
