Classic was a great time for a barb player though. Whirlwind got fucked with LoD and casters were always ahead of barbs after that no matter what.

Man the old days of b.net before all the runeword / d2jsp bullshit was fucking awesome.

The early days of battle.net (with expansion/LoD, so after classic, circa 2003) were a fucking blast and the duped/hacked items were what made the game special, until blizz wiped all of them forever. After SoJ's, dupes became the currency of choice on b.net.

How many of these do you remember coming across on b.net back in the day?

I never got into xpac. I played classic west and had 88 accounts of godly dupes before joining the army and my homeboy let all my shit expire. I remember raping the fuck out of the Koreans when dueling! We had CKK Which was the crazy Korean killer klan

I liked ladder but not getting rushed and using legit gear that sucked ass. Plus latest patches I played horn rid of cow exp and make diablo runs the go to. You still play xpac or classic? May have to install manana. And add you lol

Xpac, but been a little while. And man, you will find rushes on ladder reset within like a day lol, pretty sure people have Enigma's like less than a week after reset. I've seen item sellers list having several Tyreal's Might's for sale like 2 weeks after reset lol.

Chaos / hell diablo runs were what I always did to level, I think some time ago there was some fuckery going on with using ubers to level in the 90's but thats been nerfed or someshit so it's just hchaos and hbaal runs.

Baal bots are always up. Same with enchant games (fire enchanct sorc using a bot to constantly make new games, join their game type a command to get enchanted and go ahead and 1 shot kill everything is fastest way to make it through low levels. You can also use a command and let the host of that game make whatever wp you want).

But non-ladder has some crazy fucking items that you won't find on ladder. Not the dupes, those are long gone, but Arkane Valor's from old patches with the big ass vitality boost, and every now and then you see something that should just not fucking exist (rare as fuck though).

Ladder will have an endless supply of perfects within no time, and the chances of getting those old items on NL is nil, ain't nobody gonna part with that.

Never played xpac but I'm always down to learn. We used to do cow levels on classic with 2-3 paladins maxed out and clear them in no time. We'd do hundreds of runs before calling it quits lol. I tried wow and didn't care for it as well. Gonna see what I can find the classic and xpac bundle for and hit you up.

We always ran a lance barb clearing town gate and a zon plucking the fuck out some arrows across town. We'd use a sorc to use orb and freeze em and shit was all she wrote after that. I loved raping the fuck out of the Koreans
