Out of Stock or closed stores.

Theres a bunch of fitness centers/gyms that are gonna go tits-up and probably auction off alot of equipment . More for home gyms....

There's some stuff on CL in my area in eastern VA priced almost reasonably (< $3 a pound). Even a well stocked commercial supplier in South Hill with fair prices as long as you have cash.

The situation is quite fucked. I even asked my gym if I could borrow some of their equipment with a deposit or some shit. So far, no dice.

I have wondered about local gyms that may close.... buying their equip.

Anyways, guess I'll just try and get creative with my sets of 20, 30, and 35 pound dumbbells.

Found a half decent Olympic bar for $300 on a website but still debating on whether to buy. Will have to find some weights after.

It's an expensive time to equip any sort of home gym. Fuck corona bullshit.

Post on your Facebook account asking if anyone has any weights lying around they aren't using. I ended up getting a killer deal on a bench bar and 210 pounds of weight from a friend that didn't use it anymore

I got mine straight from a manufacturer in my area. I called and a sales guy met me at the place they actually make weights and equipment. I picked it out, they loaded it on my truck with a forklift, and I paid with my credit card. If there's one anywhere near where you live you could maybe do the same.
