Where to get Cortizone shots

Just to eliminate any confusion...

There isn't such a thing as a cortizone shot. Cortizone is a brand name for a topical hydrocortisone cream. Hydrocortisone is either for topical or oral use.

What you're thinking of is cortisone. Note the z in the name, not the s. Cortisone can be injected.

Anyway, yeah, I haven't found cortisone vials anywhere in UGL. I doubt anyone is selling the raw powder for it to be made, but I could be wrong.

Best bet might be from some of the India pharmacies.

I'll only warn you that cortisone injections literally will fuck your immune system. For that reason, doctors will usually limit how many injections you receive each year.

Also, Tuffie (post above) mentioned Dexamethasone. Google it and find it at various pet supply stores. Some have prescription required, but look around and you'll find it sold in 50-100ml vials for $25 or so. How much to inject into your own body.... bro, you'll have to look into that one. I don't convert horse to human.

Yeah, key Word is "not" long lasting. It's SAID. Steroidal anti-inflammatory drug. Dexamethasone I have used if I'm feeling a slight trigger finger and I used it once when I was feeling strep throat coming on, and got rid of the sore throat. Had a voice the next day, only a slight fever. Didn't give a chance for the bacteria to inflame my throat.

Damn, well thanks everybody for the feedback and input. I think I will just visit the doc if it gets worse, I don't think I would want to try that other stuff mentioned. I thought maybe I could get lucky so I inquired.

You're right. It does work for awhile, nothing will fix those problemes, however mitigate. Trigger finger in a friend, they used hydrocortisone, its been many many months and they have no pain or trigger finger symptoms. Both are steroids which are anti-inflammatory drug, however, dexamethasone was the only one I have used and may be more accessible.

Old thread but seen you are still active and used dexamethasone. My shoulder is jacked beyond belief and I would be willing to try this. Do you have a source that doesn't require Rx prescription? Feel free to DM me if you'd like too, thanks.
