Well, I wouldnt beat up a celebrity because I disagreed with their music and such, but as I put in my post, I would if they were disrespectful to fans. Like you said Hogg, "we" in the broader sense, made them and I completely agree with you. (On a side note, that is also the reason I dont understand why people bash "powerful corporations," as if they have power outside of their consumers. We make corporations powerful, because we WILLINGLY give them our money for their superb products. If anyone is to blame, it is ourselves.) Anyways, thats why I dont like disrespectful celebrites. We consumers made them rich and famous, and then they treat us like dirt? They should at least give us SOME respect.

I am also surprised no one wants to fight elite-level athletes. I think it would be fun to wrestle Karelin, or have a judo match with Yoshida, hell...I would even box Mike Tyson. I know I would be dominated, as these people are the best in their sport (except Tyson), but I like to know how I measure up to the best. Am I the only one?

No you are not alone in that..........I just was messing around when I posted this originally, but a few good points have been brought up. Not just about fighting though......

I'd like to stand in the box against a great pitcher.
I'd like to try to cover an elite wide out, or shake a great corner.
I've thought about the mike Tyson thing a few times.....we have VERY similar physiques......but of course I'd get my ass handed to me.

I didn't include people from my personal life because it wouldn't mean much to ya'll.........but there are infinitely more instances where in I consider physical violence a tangible option.

My neighbor just had a friend move in with him.........he has his eyes on my girlfriend, which is fine because she is flat out hot, ridiculous hot actually, but he is the type to disrespect a relationship if that makes sense.......let's hope he's smart enough to not cause me to think to much about it.

All of those who posted about sexual molestation..........I have some family background with those issues (not myself thankfully) .......I couldn't agree more with your conclusions.

Finally.........I would love to fight all the "I'm a hard ass because I'm willing to shoot you" mother fuckers..........160#'s and tough because they have nothing to lose and everything to prove to whoever.

With respect to fighting elite level athletes, I believe that you are in a different boat than most people since you are a highly trained fighter. I have a friend who works with Kimo at Eddie Millis' gym. Now, I use to run into Kimo all the time and I'd never think about wanting to wrestle with him because the guy is 20-30# heavier than I and skilled. My friend on the other hand is 20# lighter than I am and is skilled and likes to train with him. You see, you folks are in a different mode because to you, it is like a chess match, you are testing skills. Its been a long time since I have been in a fight so when I think of the word "fight", it is not a sport for me like it is for you. Matter of fact, if I was ever in a bonafide fight again, it would have to be that someone transgressed against Hogg et al in a very heinous way. You guys on the other hand are practitioners in the art of combat so you enjoy it. I'll give you another example. You can probably fight a person in a contest and win/lose/draw, shake hands with the guy after it is over for the contest.....showing mutual respect and perhaps even thanking each other for the opportunity. I on the other hand could not imagine shaking a guy's hand after a fight because the reason we got there in the first place would probably make me hate him and I would hope to see him destroyed or I would forever hate him for destroying me...depending on the outcome. It is way different for you guys.

I would enjoy fighting most of the members of any of those special intrest groups. You know the ones, they form rallys and try to get things taken away or made illegal because it's something they don't beleive in. You are right, though. After my first two fights, in which I got smacked HARD, I didn't get hit for like 3 fights. When I finally got rocked again I was like, now we're talking bitch!
