LOL....and the real spin on that is the people who watch these artists, tv celebrities, and sports figures .....if you are watching the TV staring at someone you hate, you are making him/her even more rich by paying attention.

I fully understand your point but "I" didnt make them. I will not watch a show with faggots in it. I will not pay for music. I wont watch mike tyson fight unless it is free(so i help him slightly there from ratings) same with barry bonds. I know what you are saying about the rapists and the like but I was focussed primarily on chipper's comment about the singers/actors/sports figures. If society tuned out, the industries would fall.....you would not see Sarah Jessica Parker (ugly skank) showing up at the grammy's in a $ 2,000 dress because the bitch would be waiting tables with that ugly ass mug of hers......you see, that is the point, society fueled these nobodies into somebodies.

I know what u r saying. I do help pro athletes b/c i watch them on tv but I have not paid to watch a game. Same with music concerts. I download my music for free. I wont pay 50 bucks to see some freak sing. I have went to the theatre about 5 times in the last 10 years. All in the last couple of years with my son. Most were at the drive in so we could see a couple of movies for little money. I hate hollywood and really do my best to not support them, or athletes, or musicians. My son will not be one of those faggots that idolize an athlete or rock star. that is pathetic and they are not role models. I hope i am his role model. If i am cursed with a daughter she will know that hollywood is fake etc. If i bitch about something i try to at least not support it. I think i wont vote this year so than i wont have a right to bitch about anything. Take care and i hope you get some taxes back

Well, I wouldnt beat up a celebrity because I disagreed with their music and such, but as I put in my post, I would if they were disrespectful to fans. Like you said Hogg, "we" in the broader sense, made them and I completely agree with you. (On a side note, that is also the reason I dont understand why people bash "powerful corporations," as if they have power outside of their consumers. We make corporations powerful, because we WILLINGLY give them our money for their superb products. If anyone is to blame, it is ourselves.) Anyways, thats why I dont like disrespectful celebrites. We consumers made them rich and famous, and then they treat us like dirt? They should at least give us SOME respect.
