Think it's just because it's heavy for her, in the second half of the rep she uses her back only to move the weight.
Also looks like she had the bar really far down her shoulders. Second set looks like the bars sitting mid scapula.

Low-bar squats. That's how several of the guys at my gym do it.
 
I'd worry the bar might slip a bit and fuck my shoulder. If it got caught between your forarm and back you wouldn't be able to lower it slowly.

It's a lot more stable than you would think. It took me a long time to get used to them but now I prefer low-bar squats. The bar sits right in between you traps and rear delts. You should try them once just so you know how the bar is able to stay there.
