Reportedly, a real chemist advised Axio labs to use high grade ethyl alcohol instead of Benzyl Alcohol.
'This chemist introduced his formula where instead of Benzyl Alcohol, high grade ethanol would be used...'
'the first batches of Axio were excellent and contained the high grade ethanol.'
By high-grade ethanol I'm pretty sure they meant Absolute Alcohol
besides being very pure, it contains no water
Steroid formulations are dissolved in oil
Oil and water don't mix
Likely the reason why such a dry alcohol was needed.
A former gym buddy, a paramedic (I don't know if he finally graduated as a doctor) said you won't feel any (pain) difference with injections containing a SMALL percentage of ethyl alcohol, and he has done lots of injections.
Absolute alcohol
Absolute or anhydrous alcohol refers to ethanol with a low water content. There are various grades with maximum water contents ranging from 1% to a few parts per million (ppm) levels. If azeotropic distillation is used to remove water, it will contain trace amounts of the material separation agent (e.g. benzene).[135] Absolute alcohol is not intended for human consumption. Absolute ethanol is used as a solvent for laboratory and industrial applications, where water will react with other chemicals, and as fuel alcohol. Spectroscopic ethanol is an absolute ethanol with a low absorbance in ultraviolet and visible light, fit for use as a solvent in ultraviolet-visible spectroscopy.[136]
Pure ethanol is classed as 200 proof in the U.S., equivalent to 175 degrees proof in the UK system.
