Why I Hate Flex

I was in the YMCA today doing legs when I heard high pitched screams and what not behind me. I turn around to see 3 high school kids. One on the bench with two lifting on each side of the bar. It was a 3 man lifting team on 225 lbs. Now I understand everyone starts somewhere but these guys looked like some rejects from a bad flex photo shoot. All off them had beanies on( one had flames on it with some sunglasses on). Sunglasses guy had some ball hugger cut off jeans and work boots on. Mind you these guys were 150 soaking wet. All other guys were following suit with these outstanding gym attire. I actaully said "WTF" out loud. Big no no at the ole YMCA. Then the little SOB's got all in my face asking me if had a
"fucking problem". I couldn't believe it. I just had to laugh at these kids cause I almost out weigh all three together. If flex didn't have these damn photo shoots with those pros looking like tards then the world would not have to suffer though all this. Anyhow I though you guys might get a laugh out of this.

Man this is funny I have seen this some thing so many times. LOL

God the "Y" stories we could all tell...my fav is watching "Y" staff show improper use of equipment or form...like using a seated donkey calf machine as some kind of squat apparatus.

the only y i've worked out in had about half the staffe geared up. so it was a much better environment for the heavy lifters.

that didn't stop the bench bunch and all the wanna be gangsters from giving us a good laugh every day.

didn't get too many of the wanna be fags like that though. it's like they don't even realize the photos in mags like flex are geared towards the guy on guy types.

of course college gyms are just as much fun.
