Why invent this geolocator app - geeks?

I posted then deleted the 3 word code for my bedroom and bathroom, it actually works but why put all these resources into inventing it???

Cliff notes; The app divides the world up into 3x3metre grid squares and gives every square a 3 word name. A yuuuuge computational project for sure, seems dumb as fuck tho. What am I missing?

I think to redefine how we use location. Essentially dumbing location down by converting GPS coordinates to words.

Could be useful because who the fuck will remember coordinates. Give somebody 3 words and they'll know exactly what you're talking about.

How often do we have to give exact coordinates though? Just put in your address in google maps thats it.
