You're right about black flies, those things can actually kill people.

Think of the fresh water, as well as the huge oil & gas resources, most of which are still untapped. Uranium is still being mined. Canadians of course will be miffed but most are too polite to get really loud in their protests .

Of course, Americans would have to come to terms with hockey, curling, lacrosse, baby seal clubbing, & polar bear swims each New Year's.

Well then we should consider Mexico since half there citizens are here, they don't want to recognize Arizona, Mexico, Nevada, California and Texas as part of the USA. They have great recources down there from OIL, COPPER, ZINC, GOLD, SILVER, and other commodoties. We will do a better job of making that country more financially viable and stable.
