Hmmmmmm, I do make trades......... We killed a 600+ cow elk on Saturday, I get half. Should have that back in a couple weeks from the game processor. I could have killed one also at the same time but I'm holding out for a bull but now I'm wishing I would have taken one. I am out of fish at the moment but do still have 50+ lbs. of ground elk left from the bull I killed in 2012. Haven't found a great way to prepare it yet but going to experiment this week.

I used to sell salmon when I was real young. Young like when I still lived with my parents and had no responsibilities other than school. I fished so much and caught so many salmon and steelhead I would fill my moms freezer and we would can hundreds of jars and smoke tons of fish. We ran out of room and I started selling it to neighbors and parents friends to support the next days fishing trip. Those were the good old days! Now with my bodybuilding obsession I still fish and hunt to support my food intake. Nothing beats wild game and fish. I would deff be welcome to offers though.........

Ive had smoked kangaroo before , it was tasty...also have eaten ostrich smoked in the same fashion....both eaqually good got it from a vendor at a sportsman show that is held yearly local to me...

Well I might have to check this out. I eat deer consitently and when I get lucky enough elk or moose from an uncle. But Kangaroo? Sounds interesting

I'm going to have to stick with the hormone fed meat. $20 a lb is crazy for bison. I think you can get it for half that at the local store. I don't know why everyone feels they have to rape you if you want to be healthy. doesn't cost anymore to raise Buffalo as it does beef cattle, probably cost less actually.

Buffalo is the best!!! Better taste than beef and very lean. If you can afford it, farm raised bison is well worth it. Elk and deer is often consumed in my household. Aint nothing better than some backstrap meat!!! I had Antelope fajitas the other day. My brother does taxidermy and is always being gifted with tons of meat. He ends up giving me the overflow. Thanks Bro!!!!
