To me the flirting seems to be maybe not so much an attempt at infidelity but a need for some attention and self esteem boost that people may not have gotten at home. Often however this can be misinterpited poorly by someone who knows your in a relationship or married.

I did it for the attention...when u r married to someone who sits around in his underwear and plays the playstation all day long...and doesn't realize that you r even there...or u hear that u r a worthless peice of sh*t for about ten years....I did it to make myself feel better...I don't do it that much now cuz I have got more important things to think about lol

Just last weekend, I met one of the sweetest and prettiest girls I've seen in several years. I've met her husband before, and I know for a fact he's cheating on her. Hell, on Valentine's Day, he said he was going to see some college buddies (unbelievably dumb excuse for starters) to go see his mistress. Anyway, she (the hot wife) confided in me and told me all that was going on. Of course, she had been drinking and more or less said that I could have her if I wanted. The temptation was way more than I expected, but I did the right thing. Even though her husband's a piece of shit, that doesn't justify me being one, too. It's not my fault their relationship is down the tubes, but I still believe in the sanctity of marriage.

I got married the first time when I was 18...the second time was 8 months after my divorce...I can't say I won't ever get married again but I plan on doing what I want to do if I ever do it again.

I had someone banging my x-wife who I was madly in love with like 1.5 yrs ago. This shit killed me. And I'm now divorced because of it. I know how it felt so I'd never even think about doing that to anyone.

Here's one for you oldtimer, I'm nearly 40 and got an 18 year old daughter, last November she was indecently assaulted, it would have been rape if a group of women hadn't come along and rescued her, the bloke was released on bail, and if it hadn't been for a friend of mine pulling me off I would have killed him, he's bigger than me and half my age, but I totaled 4 of his ribs before he was saved, I'm not proud of what I did, and I went off the rails for a few weeks including getting caught for speeding at over twice the legal limit, I'm a practicing christian, and agree with what you say, but I can't see that meaning I can now go out and bonk some nice 18 year old babe just to level the score, this isn't meant as a flame, just pointing out that what works in theory doesn't always work in practice..........................

my wife well over 15 years. I've never once
cheated on her and WILL NEVER. She is the greatest
thing that has happened to me,,,and ofcourse
my 2 little boys :D .

As far as the language Dumbellpress used, I think there is some great irony. There are probably more guys on this board who think DBP went too far in wishing a guy who would fuck your wife personal harm, but when it comes to the guy that would fuck your wife, oh he is cool. Well fuck that shit. DBP should have ripped into that guy, and in fact, I wish I could have seen them face-to-face saying that stuff, instead of posting on a board.

Desi, as far as it being the women's fault, you are right. But if you fuck someone elses wife/GF, even if she wants you to, it is YOUR FAULT TOO. Be a man and dont pass the blame.

I am still confused as to why, if you knew you are going to fuck other men or women, you would even get married? Marriage is a commitment, you knew this when you entered it. Are you too weak of an individual to honor a commitment? Do you do the same with bank loans, promises to your children, etc?

mark, i'm truly surprised by your response. since i think it was aimed at me, i'll reply. first of all, i don't condone cheating on one's spouse. i've been married twice and have never cheated on either wife. i do believe in the sanctity of one's wedding vows. otherwise, why get married? i'm sure guys do it for a lot of the wrong reasons e.g. to have company, to have steady sex, etc... and i believe that's a complete waste of everyone's time.

as such, i feel that the guy dumbasspress was wishing mortal harm on is a total jackhole. perhaps he really feels this way, perhaps he's just saying things that he thinks bros want to hear. either way, i don't care. but do you honestly feel that dbpress' iill will unto this guy merits praise? he could have made his point very well without unleashing his 'i hope you die a violent death' rhetoric. it's not only what you say, but how you say it....
