your fave axes....

Fender Or Gibson all else are just wood and strings. And for the banjo a buddy of mine sold his for 3k for a phukin banjo. Now if you never played a banjo they are not that ez cause you pick em with all 5 hand fingers but its often used open tuning for bluegrass. Now if you dont think bluegrass is that tricky to play then d/l some of Ricky Scaggs music and try and ear it out. I bet my right nut its not as simple as you think.

right you are ftw. banjo is one tough instrument to play. but i've been doing the banjo thang on guitar for the last 10 years, since i've gotten into danny gatton, and it just felt like the next logical progression. since i also do a lot of chord melody style, my finggers are pretty coordinated already, so i picked one up this past xmas. gotta give one a try.

now check out my fender babies! dig the joe barden's on the tele. best fucking pickups in the universe. imho, all tele's ought to be retrofitted with 'em.... yeah baby!!! :p

fatboy2

here's my holdsworth fatboy2. fully hollow-body, almost 3"-thick body. killer tone and playability. and, hey, it looks pretty fucking cool to boot.

bass you say?

and one for my bass-playing hommies... ;)

i put this one toghether myself a few years back using a warmouth neck and body and emg's. sounds close to an upright. i hope you like.

btw, if you really want to see good detail on these pics:

1. save them to your hard drive
2. use the windows imaging software to view them.

if you just click on the images, the computer will automatically open them in internet explorer, giving you crappy quality. i know, i've tried it. if you click on start-programs-accessories-imaging, you can open them in much larger size and the image quality is great. you can really appreciate the finishes, especially on the fatboy, hardware, etc. much more.

If I can get this to work

I am going to try to get these pics on here but I can never seem to get it to work...
Oh and I am in them....unfortunately
They are the only pics I have of my baby

Anyways
Not sure on the year but 1998 or 1999
Custom shop Les Paul with Curly Maple Top
Zebra pickups
blah blah ablh
Best guitar ever!!!
Sorry to all you fender guys

nice finish on the 'paul' bro. nothing wrong with 'em. i dig the sound and feel of them and i've had a couple myself (a tobacco-burst standard and an antique white custom) but they're just too damn heavy for gigging, or practicing for that matter. they're like a piece of furniture... i found myself never playing them for that reason, so i sold them. funny thing is, i got more for them used than i paid for them new. so, i guess that goes to show, they're some great instruments.

Here i am on my Gibson ES-175 and when not playing my axe im riding my Harley or hanging out with my wife worth 860 million $. Just call me the pimp of da mutha fukin nation.

Ok trying 2 be serious , the only pic of one of my guitars is my Jpan "rice burner" Strat and im not even gona post a pic of that guitar cause its just something to abuse , but my Telecaster custom is my prize position and bought it for 300$ about 8 years ago and only looked like it had been played once and put up.
The music store said it was a 72 model but could be older i need to find a place to check the serial # on it. but anyways Chip thx for the 411 on the pick ups cause my bridge pickup is handwound and aint taking distortion so well these days and time for something with a lil more warmth and flair.

Now dont get me wrong i luv Les Paul's but for personal taste a true american Fender b4 the year of 1976 is a true mother fucker of invention and since when did a 98-99 model "best guitar ever" have a beter tone than say a 1957 model?

I'm like a total retard when it comes to computers, I've only been on line about 6 months. As soon as I learn how, I'll post some pic's of my world class basses. Been workin as a pro bassist for 20 yrs. I just took my first break from workin 3-6 nights a week in those 20 yrs. So you know I'm not full of shit, the band I just left's web addy is www.sizemattersnow.com. I hired my own replacement, as I needed a break really bad. Been off about 6 months now so I'm ready to go back to work!!
Check this out, my new lead singer is a national competing figure model. I'll post some new band pictures and web site as soon as I can. Like to see what you guys think when it's ready.
My last band was real hard sounding (great name heh, heh)
I don't want this post to sound like I'm trying to show off, I'm just excited about getting back to work playing music!!
