I eat 5 meals a day and inbetween them I have almonds, RX bars, turkey jerky and shakes. I get plenty of protien. But I like the majority of it to come from breakfast, lunch and dinner

What is that docd? Hamburger with peppers?

A Dominican stoe hamburger I guess you could call it. It's called chimichurri.

You can use beef, pork, chicken, or any other type of meat. Chop up some onions, garlic and bell peppers and put them in a food processor until they come out like a paste. Mix in with the meat and add salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and Spanish oregano (not the Italian style that you see everywhere). Cook It on a griddle, grill or stovetop with some oil. Sautéed cabbage, onions and carrots that you shredded earlier and use to top the burger. The sauce on top is 3 parts mayo, 2parts ketchup, and one part mustard.

The chimis were amazing even though they tasted different from the ones I've had from food trucks. Next time I try them I plan on adding either some adobo and Sazon or 1-2TBSP of sofrito

Now you are talking Doc, nothing like the smell of ma's sofrito sizzling in the pan... Do you make your own or buy in a store?

Ma is Lebanese and Turkish so she never use sofrito lol. I make my own time permitting, I should make bigger batches and freeze it, but when I don't have the time I just buy the Goya brand

Very nice, I like to freeze mine also, but finding the time to make it always the issue. Adobo is also perfect for seasoning chicken, poultry, and I put it in my scrambled eggs and throw avocado in on top..
