I can pack away 1lb of fish easy, and I prefer fish that's baked with a little seasoning.Im a 1lb per day man when it comes to anything that swims.
Same here, my wife crushes up croutons for a little breading, when i can have the carbs of course[emoji1]I can pack away 1lb of fish easy, and I prefer fish that's baked with a little seasoning.
Yep, that's how I like to prepare fish too. For the sides I'd opt for wild rice and broccoli.Same here, my wife crushes up croutons for a little breading, when i can have the carbs of course[emoji1]
Mmmmmm, shrimp and flounder sound good odie. You guys with your frezzers full of salmon and elk make me sick. I wish my area had something that yall craved. Wait a minute we have the biggest shrimp in the world and do yall have flounder? Let's make a deal. Lol
Just placed a order from alwaysfreshfish.com. They seem to be the cheapest and have good reviews.
I bought 5 lbs of Fresh Salmon for 54.45 and 5 lbs of yellow fin tuna for 72.55. The freakin shipping is 69 bucks.
Total: 196.
Basically I will get 20 meals from this. I will cut it all up in 8 oz pieces. That comes out to 9.80 per meal.
It's still a lot of money for what you get. When I cut them up in 8 oz servings I will only be getting around 7 grams of protien.Better price than some seafood restaurant and you'll know who cooked it and how it was cooked.![]()
In just ate a pound of tilapia.... I'm sick of it until tomorrow[emoji1]It's still a lot of money for what you get. When I cut them up in 8 oz servings I will only be getting around 7 grams of protien.

Your cutting one 8 oz piece up. 7 grams protein per dish. Typo i hope. Thats a rip
Oh..nah your good.I bought 5 lbs of salmon and 5 lbs of tuna. I'm assuming that they will come in 1 lb( 16 oz) steak packs. If they do I will cut most of them in half to be 8 oz portions and yes from what I read it's around 7-9 grams of protien.
I need more fish in my diet and I'm tired of all this Gulf coast Mercury crap. plus my carpal tunnel is worse then ever. I can't even get a good nights sleep. The only thing that helps are anti-inflammatories, which are not good to take if your trying to build muscle. So fish oil is the way to go.
