Possible Water Weight Issue ?

Hey Guys,

Just wanted some feedback. I’ve currently been cutting. I lift 5 days a week and end each workout with HIT cardio. I lift really heavy so I ended up getting a tendentious flare up in my elbow. So I took 2 weeks off from lifting and just did cardio in the morning. I went from 180lb to 172lb in those 2 weeks.

I’m now in my 2nd week back lifting and my diet is been extremely clean and somehow the scale now says 178lbs. I figured it would go up a little bit because I stopped taking creatine during the time off, but it should have only gone up the first week. Now I’m almost in my second week back and I keep seeing the scale creeping up.

For example, I wanted to test something out I weighed myself in the morning then lifted and did cardio as usual and purposely under ate even more than I usually do for my cut and I still gained a pound when I weighed myself this morning. I’m assuming this is water weight, but its just frustrating to see weight flux that high up in such a short time. Any ideas ?
