I hate asking for a spot. It does make a big difference if I can get a lift off, mentally and physically. I don't think a lift off is a bad, you use a lot of energy getting a bar in place. So, why not ask for a lift off if you have a spotter?? With that said I hit 315 for 5 and 4-1/2 (got it half way, spotter helped) on bench press this morning. Then I dropped down to 275 only got 6 and 5, no spotter. Both weights felt good and I probably could/should have squeezed out another rep on my 2nd set of 275. I know if I had a spotter I could've done it. But, I wasn't gonna ask the dude for another spot.

Another awesome workout in the books!! It was a little pissed to only get 6 and 5 @ 275, but like I said no spotter makes a difference. And even though the kid that spotted me with 315 is a douche, he did a good job. Elbow is still a little sore, but no sharp pin pricks, so I can live with that.
I do feel like I starting to tighten up now and I'm lovin' tren.
