Last year in NT we had a 2 week ice storm that grounded planes and sent the national Guard out to bring food and water to folks stuck on 35. Temp was easily below the freezing point for those 2 weeks. Out of the goodness of my heart and my 9.5 lb winch I found myself helping ALOT of people out. Don't know why. I typically don't like people but since southerners are clueless when anything but warm and sunny happens I felt it was my duty to help. Lots of trucks in T but 85 percent of em ain't worth the metal their forged with or the skills of the one behind the wheel. It hasn't gotten cold here in a few years. I think last year we had one week where it dropped below freezing and it was just barley below 32 degrees. I've worn shorts for the last 2 Thanksgivings and Christmas. Really wasn't saying it was cold earlier. What I meant was the temp literally changes 50 degrees in just a few hours where I'm at. When you have a metal plate holding the right side of your face together and 4 screws holding one knuckle together then that kind of temperature change daily will have you feeling like poopoo.
Maybe I'm just a grumpy prick
