In all honesty it's probably about 7-8 seconds because I'm counting to 10 in my head, which is probably a faster count than a stopwatch count. I will do this on the last set of an exercise for ALMOST every exercise. Exceptions would be deadlifts, wide grip pullups, bent over rows, and squats. For back I WILL do a 10 sec pull with a pulldown machine or a row machine, but you def have to put the mind in the muscle or it'll tax the fucking shit out of your biceps too much before back. A slight lean back on a pulldown motion helps keep the bi's out of it more. As for leg presses, oh what a humbling experience. Put it this way.....I don't even fuck with the leg sled, I get everything I need out of the Nautilus pin loaded machine that maxes out at just 400 lbs. My quads will be shaking after about 6-8 reps w/ 400 lbs, I'm talking shaking like you're brand new to working out again!! This is the machine where the platform does not move, but the seated backpad does, and it's pin loaded. Humbling to say the least!!!
