I'm thinking i always had issues because I would always cook it from thawed and add a couple cups of water.... and start it on high for a few hours then put it on low.Glad you like it and there's alot of great things you can make in a crock pot. I use a plastic liner for mine for easy cleanup.

the big breast is a sharptail grouse, the small breast is a Hungarian grouse, served with wild rice and a few shrimp to top it off.
