been craving a sammich for days! Seein yall posting blts every day..... so I made a grilled cheese on sourdough....

Ps: looks skinny cuz i smashed the evert lobbing life out it while it was in the cast iron. .. wanted to sear and melt the cheese in the center. .
 
I'm thinking i always had issues because I would always cook it from thawed and add a couple cups of water.... and start it on high for a few hours then put it on low.

Figured I'd give it a shot. Glad i did!
You should put a bit of water in the bottom so that the meat doesn't burn or sear. I set mine to cook for 8-10 hours. And you can put it in frozen but will take longer.
 
I love reading this thread and seeing @rubisean's profile pic. That pic speaks volumes!
I can just picture being at his table and him setting a plate down in front of me and saying "try some of THIS shit" with his arms folded and that same look on his face!
My whole life I have been told people are scared of me. Even when I am in a great mood I have a mean scowl on my mug and always look hard, it is my natural look. I will admit it comes in handy like when I'm walking in the mall and that sales person that stops everybody to gives the sales pitch... they see me comming and look the other way. @Str8Shooter this is by far my favorite place on meso, the peeps on ogh's thread are real.
