Hey brothers,

27 year old male here. ~170lbs Been working out on and off for years just to come back to the same old weights. I used prohormones 3 times like an idiot within the past two years and probably fucked myself up pretty good from it. Best cycle was a halodrol cycle, pct was basically non existent. Got up to 190lbs which was awesome then stopped working out due to the massive emotional swings I experienced..

Back now.

I don't plan on using any other prohormones in the near future (if I did pick something it would be AAS), but it would be a dumb move. My wrist is in pretty bad shape from the last time I was ON. I have 6" wrists at 6'1 190lbs curling 55lb in each arm...yeah.

I'm doing the nutrition thing, counting macros, making sure to stay away from junk, training hard, and hopefully I can gain some of what was lost during the cycles.

Does muscle memory apply to a person who stopped using aas/prohormones from when they had more size?

Welcome to meso man.

I'm not sure if this can be answered accurately for everyone. Generally I would say yes though. Muscle memory is an amazing thing. If you lost muscle gains very quickly though then it's a different story IMO. Don't worry though man, if you take the lifestyle seriously it'll pay off - muscle memory or not.

This is generally how muscle memory works for me-I used to have a drug problem but have worked out off and on my entire life. The only time I quit the weights was when I was on painkillers, etc but when I'd clean up it would take about 6-8 weeks to get most of it back. I would blow right back up again within 3 months. Muscle memory is no joke but everyone is different. I wanted to be a professional bodybuilder at one time but life and my choices had other plans :)

Thanks guys I appreciate the motivation. Right now im just going to the gym, eating, and sleeping (aside from work)...trying to form a solid routine this time around and not let laziness or other distractions get in my way.

Have you gotten blood work to see if anything is out of wack?

I have not. I would like to get back into workout out first for at least a month, so all the crap I was eating for the past 2 months will be out of my system. Not sure if that stuff affects bloods though.
