Neck training - advice please?

Is neck work a thing? Cuz shit, I've been skipping neck day alot lol

We all get plenty of trap work from a lot of exercises, and the posterior neck muscles are usually not too bad for many - my concern is the anterior/front muscles, I probably need strengthening those to keep the neck balanced, head tucked in etc. Way too much leaning forward in my job. I'll see if strengthening my neck can't resolve that. Not really going for size - I'm right over an 18" neck ATM, so we'll see where that goes.
 
I'm sure you are aware of them but do you do yes/no's? Where you support your upper back across a bench and just let your head fall back and bring it back up to level with your torso for around 30-50 reps? then at the end of that set you do a "no" motion 10-20 each side while keeping your head level. I managed to put some size and probably some strength (about 1 inch) on my neck doing these from a tip from a football coach. Just be careful doing them slow and controlled.
