progress/training log

Didnt get to hit it today, helped the guy that is letting me stay with him out doing some pressure washing in the morning before work, it was cold and it sucked but least i can do with him outting me up for a couple weeks. Gonna do my wednesday routine tomorrow and my friday routine on monday and then just deload the rest of that week and the next week when im in portland cuz im gonna be lifting with my old man and he is going to want to do his routine so ima do that and probably check my max's while i have a spotter handy
 
Thank ya sir! Yeah im excited to see what happens, got my bicycle fixed to since im a little farther from work now so i'll be riding that 10-15 mipes a week so that will probably help me burn off some extra fat.

Yeah i mean i could have went back and made a scene, could have cravked the guys fucking jaw, but i just dont have the energy to fight about dumb shit with dumb people anymore lol. I got some people are helping me out and letting me stay with them for free for a couple weeks so i can save up and find a new place, just gotta help the guy with his painting business every now and then and help out around the house which i am incredibly grateful for. I thought i was going to wnd up living in a fuckin tent again lol.
Insaiyan I am no expert at BB but as far as dropping some unwanted pounds. It has been my personal experience that by doing all my cardio first thing in the am before eating anything may a huge difference for me. But as I mention I was not training at the level of you guys and you might want to check with others first. I did have to keep pushing my comfort level everyday and not settle for the same as the day before. However don't train wreck all your hard work in the gym. Good luck

Hey man, yeah ive actually read alot about fasted cardio. I actually tried it a couple times but i just cant get through it, maybe im just a pussy but i just get lightheaded and naseaous haha.
Maybe if i ever decide that i want to try and go down to like 10% bf or something i might make it work, but for now im making steady progress and the cardio isnt making me TOO miserable hahaha

If you ever want to give it a try again you can chew gum and sip an amino acid drink. Modern BCAA was my jam for awhile... They took it off the shelves for a little while but I think it's for sale again.

I may if i stall out, but right now im dropping a couple pounds every few weeks and thats about where i wanna be honestly. If i get to that point i will give the aminos a try though, my body just rages in protest when i dont put anything in the fuel tank hahah

I'm the same way... Those aminos don't have sugar in them but it tastes like they do so it was a mental thing.
 
Today i did

Squats 5x5 at 305lb. 5lb increase.all sets complete.

Bench 4x8 at 215. Failed on last rep last week. All sets completed this week.

Deadlift 6x3 at 325lb. 5lb increase. All sets complete.

Revers3 flys 3x12
Calf raise 3x25
Bodyweight dips 3x10

Ran out of time so no cardio today, but i have plenty of uphill walking/biking ahead of me so not too worried about it. Good work out though. Looking forward to deloading a little, my knees are definitely feeling the stress from all the heavy squatting.

Saunas really help me. the first couple days I keep it short and wipe sweat of entire body as soon as it beads. My experience day 1 dry heat hot as you can stand it. listen to your body as soon as you feel any internal body stress. Stop! Day 2 dry heat hot again. Same with keeping sweat wiped off at first signs of a good bead. Wipe with force helps with cleaning pours. try to add another 5 min post internal body signal but not to far. Day3 hotter than day 2 apply cold water to heater for steam. wait til sweat starts to roll exp belly button full of sweat time to wipe try for at least 3 cycles watch for internal body signs but push just a little more today. Remember wiping off sweat once rolling will help. Day 4 take off from sauna. day5 same as day 3 buy now you should be able to stay in as long as you want with out the side effects. Remember to wipe sweat after you get a good roll started. at this point pores are clean. sauna for me is a great place for push ups, certain types of ab work. dips on edge of bench. provided you have the sweat box alone. If possible refrain from any water before sauna, after day 3. helps me get whats stored instead of taking easiest source. afterwards get you daily water intake. this helps really clean the skin. sweat left on skin acts as cooling effect even while in sauna. don't want that. I have noticed after a week or so the fat begins to fell a lot les solid. if sauna is not available at you gym. most nice hotels allow outsiders to use them for a few dollars Good luck.

Nice, unfortunately i think im out of luck on that one. No sauna at my gym,and im in a pretty small town so i doubt any of the little hotels has one, maybe ii'll call around and see, thanks for the tip man.

Do you live in a southern state or is it warm there 80 or above? I'm in the south so I can improvise for a sauna. but if its not getting to at least 80 or so where you live. I'm all out of ideas

Well i used to live in florida, that was Like being in a sauna 24/7 but im in the northwest now so it never gets too bad, mid 70's at best

Anyways yeah, not alot of structure in todays work out but it was kind of fun to just go and goof off with how seriously ive been taking it the last month or so, plus i got a killer bicep pump, i feel like i have 26 inxh guns hahah. Now im going to go get something delicious to eat.

Been a silent follower of this one from the start but gotta say man, I just puked for you on that workout! Also thanks I can now have some more calories due to the ones I've lost lol. Seriously good work so far your heavy days are looking solid and don't worry about all the cardio business just yet your losing weight and gaining strength so life is good. When you either stall in strength gains or stall in weight loss that's when it's time to shake things up but if somethings working gotta give it the time to let it work like you are doing

Haha man it wasnt as bad as it sounds, definitely challenging though, not used to the high reps at all, but it was to mix it up a little.

Haha thank you though man, ive been having a lot of fun. Definitely not gonna get too whacky with the cardio, just the little bit ive been doing plus my bike rides to and from work and around town, i think its plenty for now.
