Damn dude, never even knew about that. Just read up on it - pretty interesting. I feel like sometimes it has to do with lighting... its weird. My older brother used to always sleep with the lights on as a kid so I did the same. Now I find myself the most tired when all the lights are on (sunlight through windows included). Not sure if theres a fancy name for that, too.
I have a rough time trying to get some decent sleep and went through a bunch of "sleep hygiene" classes.
There were a few things they recommended like staying out of bed until it was time to sleep, so if you going to read a book, don't lay down and read in your bed. Read at the table or couch. Also stay out of bed until you are dead tiree.
That last one worked awesome for other people. They would kinda truck thru the first few days, as most people didn't sleep the first night, 2nd night they only got a few hours of sleep, but eventually after about a week they were retraining their bodies to fall asleep when they hit the bed.
I tried this and just stayed up for like 3 days haha!
Can't remember if I said it in the previous post, but dopamine regulates your bodies signals. Maybe try some herbal dopamine agonist stuff like 5htp, l-dopa.
They could help switch your circadian rhythm back to a more favorable rhythm, along with a few tricks.
I got pages and pages of info on sleep... I will dig some up tomorrow and post them up
