My first cycle.

Just got my lab work back today and my test came back super low at 258 :(
So now I'm not sure if i should continue with my cycle or if I should put it on hold and try to get it treated...
Anyone here have any thoughts on the matter?

Have you been on any other cycles recently? If your patient enough could always see a trt doctor first and once you get all your levels in check do a blast. May be better long term for you.

I did sarms a few years back but never anything else. The test I got was from a trt doc I could see but they don't take insurance, so I don't know if I can afford it out of pocket.
I did sleep poorly that night, how much can that actually affect it?

My trt doc doesn't either I have decent insurance so I have to apply for reimbursement for doctors visits and my test is covered by insurance. Insurance did require two tests one in am and one in pm on a different day along with a few extra perimeters on the tests to approve me. May be worth a call to your insurance. It took awhile to get approved so I paid out of pocket for the test C and Sun Pharma test through CVS and needles were around $147.00 for 2000mg per 10 ml.

I suppose I'll try to get in with them, couldn't hurt to see what they might do for me.
How big a pain is it to seek reimbursement?

Sorry but do you need high test before you start your cycle?

It's not to bad, I upload or mail the invoice to them and they approve it. Now I go once every 6 months so pretty inexpensive. It is easier once they approve your need for trt. You just have to be able to front the money until you get paid back is probably worst case. I would probably check online or call them to see what the protocol is to be approved. I don't know how true or consistent it is for all insurance companies but he told me under testosterone under 300 is usually approved through insurance and he had a person in his office familiar with insurance help through the process.

If for whatever reason you have to pay out of pocket again check out this website for really good discounts on prescriptions.

Ok, I'll at least see them once more to see what they have to say. Thanks for the input
I would personally say to get the low test figured out before running anything. That way you'll already have it in place and working for you. Plus you could probably make some pretty good gains on just what the dr prescribes and milk that for awhile.

My regular doc is who tested me and prescribed my test. Insurance covered everything that way. It may not be as preferential as a specialist but still gets taken care of. Only downfall I have with insurance so far is they will only cover a 30 day supply so I get 4x 1ml vials instead of the 10ml I was prescribed. No real biggie tho.

Hmm maybe I'll bring the results to my pcp.

Tonight's workout:
Deadlift 245×5 335×5 425×4 515×1 505×2, 1.
Dumbbell row 90×12 100×12, 12.
Shrugs 110×12, 12, 12.
EZ bar curl 75×12, 9, 8.
Hammer curl 20×8, 7, 8.
Supported rows 80×8, 8, 9, 9.

I've got an appointment with that trt doc the 18th, I'm kinda anxious to see how they plan to treat me. I still might see my pcp in the interim, but I'm not sure its worth two doctor visits.

Last nights workout:
Overhead press 95×8 115×6 135×4
Push press 185×3, 2, 2
Arnold press 35×8, 6 30×7, 6
Upright row 55×12
High pull 95×12 115×12 135×12
Lateral raise 15×12, 7 10×9
Bent over raise 10×12, 12.

Didn't manage to post monday so here's that and tonight's
Monday:
Bench 115×10 185×6 225×5 255×3, 3, 5
Incline DB bench 70×8, 5 65×8, 8
Tricep extension 15×12, 12, 10+130×2.
Tonight:
Squat 135×5
SSB squat 245×6 335×4 365×3, 3, 5.
Leg press 800×8, 8, 8, 8.
Left after that, couldn't think of anything else lol.

I've also begun taking 12.5 mg mk677 daily in lieu of my planned cycle, so I'll note any effects of that along the way; so far all I've noticed is increased hunger and some weight gain im assuming is from water retention.

No, but having supra-physiological levels of test would prevent the docs from being able/willing to provide treatment if I pursue it, I would think.

Run your cycle and after you pct go see an endo (clomid can take a long time to clear) and hop on the trt train. If your natty levels are that low, you're going to love being ON.

That's not a bad idea, and I'm definitely expecting that I'll love being on lol.
But I've got an appt lined up for this Thursday, so i guess I'll just follow through with that.

Sorry, I haven't been keeping up with this like i should...heres my past couple workouts.
8/13/16:
overhead press 95×8 115×6 135×4.
Push press 185×3, 3, 3.
DB overhead press 40×8, 8, 8, 10.
Face pull 80×12 90×12, 12.
Decline situp 0×15, 15, 15, 15.
Bent lateral raise 20×11 15×12 10×15
Hammer curl 25×10, 10, 10.
8/16/16:
Deadlift 155×8 245×6 365×4 505×3, 2, 3.
Chest supported row 90×8, 8, 8, 8.
DB shrugs 120×12, 12, 12.
DB curl 40×12, 10, 7.
EZ bar curl 75×12, 8.

Overall I'm happy with my progress despite a few minor setbacks. My weight is up to 285; not sure if its muscle or water weight or what but I dont seem to be any fatter and my scale says I've lost a few percent. Still taking mk677 but I've upped it to 25mg and I'm still playing around with am or pm dosing.
The hunger has levelled out but i think I may be noticing better sleep and recovery, but it's hard to tell as it seems fairly subtle. No muscle gains I would consider out of the ordinary, but I do think I've noticed a slight strength increase.

Bench went pretty well tonight.
8/18/16:
Bench 135×9 185×6 225×4 265×3, 3, 4.
Incline DB bench 70×8 75×8, 7, 7.
DB triceps extension 60×9 50×11, 9.
EZ bar curl 75× 12, 10, 7.
Cable crossover 50×11, 10, 8+40×6.

Also saw that trt doc today; they drew some blood to test my LH and prolactin, and depending on the results they said they'd probably prescribe clomid to jumpstart my T. If that doesn't work then would come either trt or hcg. This is becoming more drawn out than I'd like but i suppose it's worthwhile; still, If there comes a long period where I'm meant to wait and see what happens I may try to run a cycle of some sort if possible.

It was a pretty long process for me to get started on trt. I just now got everything dialed in and the whole process started last October. o_O Lots of hoops to jump thru. I also changed docs 3 times trying to find one that knew anything about trt. Hell actually 4 times now, the place I go to just swapped me to another doc cause my old one left.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I don't know why I thought it would be a fast process lol, guess I didn't know what to expect.
Don't get me wrong, I'm totally fine with getting all the appropriate tests done and making sure I get whatever is best for me. I'm just getting antsy to start my cycle haha :)
