RACISM

No matter what you would like to believe, there will always be predudice... as long as there is a difference... of any kind..

I was going to say that black people are less likely to have insurance to see a doctor anyway. If they do now it is most likely medicare. Good luck with that. Whites will have better insurance also.

The medical profession and the pharmaceutical industry are responsible for the explosion of drug addiction in this country. Apparently there are benefits to being a permanent underclass.

Only one race was brought to this country as slaves. The hatred for that will never end.
I'm not making excuses for it, and you would be foolish not to realize that fact. We are no better than other animals in the wild kingdom. We are only much more dangerous. It is just in our nature. We are the only species that has the capacity to destroy the planet we live on, and we will.
Actually sir with all do respect there were several races brought to this country as slaves ... chinese, irish, and affrican american... we seem to only remember the one..

Yes kawilt prejudice will always be a part of human nature just the reality. But wouldn't you agree prejudice should not be supported, tolerated nor encouraged. By any persons in power that are either leading a country or protecting society?

The Irish were never slaves. They were indentured servants amd there is a HUGE difference between the two.

I'm not comparing the two by any means, but the Irish were very much slaves... sex slaves are no different than any other slave in my opinion... and when 6ou speak of 12 year old irish girls bread with African American men to produce a superior breed of slave, I would very much consider that slavery...

Isn't that what you did when you posted your link?
I posted a link from a trusted source. I also studied early American history and am irish myself. Im not trying to start a debate about what did or didn't happen or say that what happend to the Irish is comparable to what happend to black slaves, just that it did in fact happen.

There is a very strong political push to deny indentured servants (both British and Irish) were treated every bit as bad as black slaves despite overwhelming evidence supporting it. The position that black slavery was "special" is one of the left's primary political platforms. Unfortunately, the right attacks that platform with plenty of propaganda of its own. Whatever the details, it's not a condition I would ever want to endure myself.

What I find funny is that labeling low paid workers today as slaves is also one of the left's primary platforms. They often call them indentured servants and slaves in the same paper.

And neither is Jay trying to say the Irish were never treated poorly. Liam Hogan is an Irish researcher and offers up a different viewpoint.

Which is exactly why I was being respectful in disagreeing with his statement... I think its all about how you look at it.
