why the tank drinks at least 20 whole eggs a day

Man I use to drink 1 dozen whole eggs a day but the gas I got from them was so fuckin bad that I couldn't evem stand being around myself lol. It is so much easier to down them.than fuck with boiling, or making scrabled eggs ect. I evem took beeno to help with the gas bit it didn't evem put a fuckin dent in it lol. This was some wicked gas that was on a mission. I even missed the gym a few times over it smh lol

Does that brand require refrigeration? Or do they send the eggs cold packed?

Everything posted is for entertainment value only.

Looks like they send them frozen in an insulated box. I'm going to give them a try. Egg whites are kinda expensive around here... I'll have to look and see if the cost is worth it.

Always considered adding eggs to my shakes, been about a week now since I tried it and I love it:p I've been adding 6 whole eggs and 2 cups egg whites won't ever go back to the normal shakes now thanks to this thread:D

Just made my Costco trip. I buy the 10oz cartons, think there are 12 to a pack, only because I don't have to measure out 16 egg whites this was. 16.9 oz is 500ML, or just shy of 16 egg whites. I add whole eggs and whites to my shakes as well. If I'm behind on protein, or something, I'll throw in Greek Hogarth as well. Costco also had 3lb bags of frozen blueberries, which I also add to shakes. Much cheaper.

I'm kind of a shill for Kroger.... if you have one nearby you, they are much cheaper than Costco or Sam's.
They have 60 eggs for $7 and a 16oz carton of whites is a little under $4. One day they had the 60 eggs on sale for $1.49. Love them.

100% agree. I always make a B-line for the woohoo deals in the meat section.

Abstract

Egg proteins contribute substantially to the daily nitrogen allowances in Western countries and are generally considered to be highly digestible. However, information is lacking on the true ileal digestibility of either raw or cooked egg protein. The recent availability of stable isotope-labeled egg protein allowed determination of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein by means of noninvasive tracer techniques. Five ileostomy patients were studied, once after ingestion of a test meal consisting of 25 g of cooked 13C- and 15N-labeled egg protein, and once after ingestion of the same test meal in raw form. Ileal effluents and breath samples were collected at regular intervals after consumption of the test meal and analyzed for 15N- and 13C-content, respectively. The true ileal digestibility of cooked and raw egg protein amounted to 90.9 +/- 0.8 and 51.3 +/- 9.8%, respectively. A significant negative correlation (r = -0.92, P < 0.001) was found between the 13C-recovery in breath and the recovery of exogenous N in the ileal effluents. In summary, using the 15N-dilution technique we demonstrated that the assimilation of cooked egg protein is efficient, albeit incomplete, and that the true ileal digestibility of egg protein is significantly enhanced by heat-pretreatment. A simple 13C-breath test technique furthermore proved to be a suitable alternative for the evaluation of the true ileal digestibility of egg protein.
