buying modified cars

like the title says, is there a place where you can buy fully modified or custom cars ?. anyone know of a legit place or does this kinda thing not exist?

Find an un-touched car for whatever you want to drive and do the labor yourself. Learn the platform. I don't trust other peoples labor.

Anyway, check whatever classifieds you have where you live. All kinds of guys selling their project cars and a lot of guys are just looking to get rid of whatever they have. People don't really hold onto those cars forever, you get sick of working on the same platform after so many years and want something else.

Don't buy a modified/project car. You won't know what it has unless visible, and you won't know if quality work was put into it. Just cus I slap a turbo and have a nos system installed, would you believe me if I said the entire engine was built with forged internals, etc? I could be lying. Also, they will be over priced because nodding a car does not bring the value up and someone who knows what they have will inflate the price to make some money back

Ur always buying and fixing someone elses problem, start from square with ur own car. Best way to go about knowing EVERYTHING ABOUT UR CAR.

I would never buy a modified vehicle, a majority of the time people are selling their project cars because they have been beating the shit out of it and want some cash for a fresh build. Get yourself a project car, engine swap if it's in your budget(1jz, 2jz, sr20, rb26, LS). I've imported some cars from Japan in the past(stock) for fairly cheap and they seem to hold value well, if your curious the cars I received from Japan are a 97' RX-7, 92' 240sx s13, 91' R32 GTR. In Canada the laws are 15 years old to import and i think it's 25 in the states.

What type of notified vehicle are you looking for? Can save a lot of money that way but must do a lot of due diligence. I have waste a lot of money on mods myself to sell cars for less.

Are we talking resto-mods, old school street racers, import tuners, or what? When you say modified that can mean a lot of different things.

4g63t best bag for ur buck! Turbo charged and proven to be the strongest and fastest 4 cylinder engine. Go for a gst or preferably gsx(all wheel drive) model
