Very true but if you check with alot of dealers they'll warranty lifts that they have put on. The dealer I may or may not work for sells more trucks than cars and we always have atleast 5 lifted on the lot. I know the jeep dealer in town will lift up to 6in and cover it. Ford and GM dealers that install lifts warranty the lift and related hardware thru that specific dealership. They use aftermarket lifts. GM frowns on it but they let us do it.Idk of any factory lift kits of any sort that doesnt involve mopar.

We do the alignments at the dealer...sucks ass. We also warranty alot of wheel hub assemblies.I havent had any luck with IFS lifts. There always out of spec some where. Excessive unusual tire wear, mostly the inside ridge. Short ball joint life. Better luck with the Fords. Much better. Finding a good alignment guy is hard outside of 4wheelparts franchise. So much so i dont think id ever lift a IFS equipped vehicle again. So much money and hassle for very little return. idk how it could even be warrantied by a dealership?
Now a straight axle? Different story. Thank god for Ford/Dodge/Jeep. They still make em and are pretty lift friendly. Especially the Jeep
Drilled and slotted would be more towards heavy track use not really necessary for a truck your actually losing surface area. I've used their yellow pads with stock rotors on a 97 4x4 ram I had with 33s. Very happy with the improved stopping power. Pad life was around oem maybe a little more.Got a question about brakes:
Looking in to performance brakes for my truck. Stock rotors and pads last a long ass time. Ive had my truck about 6 yrs now and i get about 70k miles out of each set of stock pads and rotors. They were fine with the stock size tires or even the 33's. I run 35's now and they dont stop very good especially with my boat in tow or any heavy load i use my truck for. Or i should say i want MORE stopping power.
So im considering EBC pads and rotors. They are roughly 2x the cost of stock pcs but the trade off should be much more enhanced stopping power. Id like to hear from guys that actually went this route. My main concerns are longevity. If these high friction pads destroy rotors itll be a deal breaker for me. They have to at least match the life of the stock pcs especially for the price. Another question:
They offer drilled and slotted rotors from EBC as well but im concerned there just cosmetic enhancements and wont actually help in performance as all stock rotors these days are vented any how

Nope everything worked fine. If you do go with the drilled and slotted rotors your not supposed to turn/resurface them. So only one use out of them. The ebcs have less metal in the pad material I never had any noticeable rotor wear.It didnt destroy the rotors with the yellow stuff?

That may net me 15 or 20% more stopping power and their supposed to brake better the hotter they get. Unlike stock pads.Nope everything worked fine. How was the dust on the yellow stuff? That is their harshest compound for 4x4's...yellow or green? hmmmm choices
Also i hear wet braking isnt great on those performance pads. Such as 4Lo crawling and such at low speeds. Which possibly could be an issue
