whas up guys, I work in the oilfield and live out of a hotel and have no access to a stove or anything just a microwave, what's some good foods I could be eating? Iam looking to burn some fat but I don't wanna be a bean pole. I would like to pack on some lean muscle. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated

Carbs potatoes, oatmeal, grits are simple to make. You could also buy a rice cooker and steam rice if you don't wanna get one you can buy individual servings of microwaveable rice. Protein is gonna be a bit more difficult you didn't say if you have access to a refigerator I would expect a decent hotel to have one if not tell them you need it for medical purposes that you have meds that must be kept cool and they have to get you one. Anyway protein... beef jerky, protein powder are both easy to travel with also protein bars the Metrx ones are high calories and decent size and the quest bars taste pretty good for a lower calorie option both are sold at most Walmarts, canned chicken, canned tuna things like that are easy. Cottage cheese(mix with coco powder and Splenda it's good I put it on rice cakes) Greek yogurt. Protein will by far be the most difficult if you stop at restaurants/fast food during the day get things high in protein order extra meat burger patties etc. Fats almonds, cashews, walnuts, peanut butter. fats shouldn't be hard to get in especially if for part of the day you're on the move get the cottage cheese and Greek yogurt with higher fat content. Milk or water in the protein shakes depending on if you're having it in your room or at work. If there's a Walmart around go look around the food part everything these days is made for convenience and on the go. It may not be the healthiest stuff all the time but overall if you wanna lose weight just keep calories in check.

Meal prep. Cook on your day off for the week. I cook once a week, enough food to last my 5 day work week. I bought a Yeti soft sided cooler bag that with ic packs will stay cold for a couple days. I add ice or re-freeze the packs as needed.
I bake salmon and chicken and BBQ steaks. Cook sweet potatoes and rice then package it up in Tupperware. For veggies it's usually raw broccoli or I will microwave some asparagus or Brussels sprouts in a Pyrex dish with water.
Sasquatch gave you some great options. There are plenty of prepackaged foods that are "clean".
Plan ahead and make sure you take enough food with you.

It's because he's got lucky with genetics...I'd get fat on such a diet, but I am sure that the physical work in an oil field is enough to burn those cals.

He's one crazy sob though haha.

If you watched his vids, he's got quite a wicked sense of humor too. Definitely the kind of guy I'd wanna train and go have a beer with.

You first need to pick one, burn fat or gain muscle

I work on ships and suffered the same problems. Now I have bags off cous cous, tuna, rolled oats and supplement protein when the galley churns shit out. But I do have a 24hr gym with decent kit only 1 deck bellow. Could do with a bigger kit bag to pack more food in !

Might sound gross (but it's really not if you try it), I find egg whites the easiest protein source for low prep time or prep equipment. It's even less time than a protein shake - dont have to blend, wash dishes etc - sorta like a RTD but no artificial sweeteners or random ingredients, literally fat free, and cheaper than your typical rtd. I often have 2-4 of the 500 ml cartons per day, the only downside is if dieting it doesn't fill you up the way a comparable serving of meat would, so if you have a huge appetite it might not be the best choice.

(I'm referring to drinking them from the carton for convenience instead of cooking)
