Guns

They're pretty damn cheap new.lol I've shot high points before but never the carbine. If you go by strictly durability and ability to fire they're fuckin top notch elite level shit, never seen one jam. If you look at any other aspect of them well it's not great but they don't cost much either:oops: Watch a diehard glock guy start talking shit to me in a minute o_O just so you guys know the weight argument is invalid on this forum :p
Yea Highpoint will go bang when you want it to...

Awesome thread.

This is my 308 bullpup, and model 36 glock. It's got a 30mm Trijicon 1x4 scope , with the green triangle post. That makes quickshots a piece of cake. The glock is a 45, and has a very violent muzzle flip. Easy to carry , but takes practice to get off fast follow-up shots.

This ^^^^is the single greatest high point review I've ever seen . Honestly they're ugly, too heavy and the trigger pull leaves quite a bit to be desired:confused: but they're cheap and fun to shoot.

Hah ha. If I wanted to beat someone to death with a handgun I'd take a high point. Otherwise I'll stick with my glock.

How do you like that Trijicon? I've got their ACOG on two of my AR's and love them. Haven't tried one of their variable power scopes yet.

I absolutely love it! This is the site picture. And at 1, it is a true 1 power. You still get that fast target shot. But have the ability to go to 4 power. My biggest problem is I only have one, and keep wanting to switch it from gun to gun. th-125.jpg

I don't think we have a guns and all things related (gear, knives, hunting, etc.) for our Meso brethren.

Let us discuss, have a bit of show & tell and display our trophies!

nice colt build my friend. That's the next platform I'm going to use.

Very nice taste in firearms, @Mrhat39! I've got a LE6920 that I've had forever and a DDM4 V7. Been looking at LWRC 5.56's for a while bit that damned REPR keeps grabbing my attention whenever I look at their stuff! I made a deal with a buddy who has one; he got to shoot my SCAR 17 and I got to shoot the REPR. We both like the SCAR but both agree the REPR is nicer.

And I'm thinking hard about Trijicon's AccuPoint. I've got a Bushnell Tactical Elite 1-6.5 on the SCAR and it does its job, but not having to worry about batteries would be a plus...just in case shit ever does hit the fan.

I would love to get my hands on the REPR. It's the perfect fighting weapon.

20170310_083957.jpgI love 1911s too of course. 45s are my favorite caliber for pistols. I carry a little glock 43 in 9mm. But any time I expect trouble, I'm packing a 45..

Yeah I was stupid and sold it to help fund a new street bike.
I had to fight the tears back as I read this. But I understand, bikes are pretty important too..

You guys ever go to the Knob Creek Machine Gun Shoot? I take my family twice a year. It's the biggest machine gun shoot in the world not put on by military. Check it out on YouTube you would love it!

This is my current build just got the cerakote done. Next is a aimpoint or a eotech View attachment 66882

ALL MUST USE CAUTION WHEN UTILYZING "EOTECH" HOLOGRAPHIC OPTICS!

There is a POI shift in the optic which occurs in extreme temperatures. If you live in a "hot" or "cold" state your Eotech optic can shift as much as +\- 4 MoA!!! That is huge! And at distance can equal missing your target COMPLETELY!

Storing your rifle in you car in an average state during summer months can cause issues as well. SOMETHING TO CONSIDER FOR A WEAPON I WOULD DEPEND MY LIFE ON.

I would never recommend EOTECH optics for the fact alone that they TRIED TO COVER IT UP! Would you trust your life to a manufacturer who is dishonest? I'm not! Especially when they are selling "LIFE PRESERVATION ITEMS"

I would highly recommend anything Aimpoint or Trijicon ACOG for a weapon that should preserve the safety of your family.
