Why not an E-Z bar?Mainly talking barbell hit 135 last night for 5. That's for me pretty good since I don't really do barbell curls.
The ezbar has definitely saved my elbows more often than notWhy not an E-Z bar?
Growth is pretty much the same, and your elbows will thank you later for that.
The bi's and tri's are the smallest muscle groups in the body and dont need extremely heavy weight to grow. What is needed is lighter weight with strict control, slower reps and strong contraction.
I don't like how they hit my bicep. Why not an E-Z bar?

Haha so not true for me but those 5 reps at 135 are nice and controlled I've stopped throwing weight around like a maniac a few years ago and I look much better. The bi's and tri's are the smallest muscle groups in the body and dont need extremely heavy weight to grow. Nice avatar [emoji106] now change it [emoji14]I have hit barbell curls at 155 for 3x7 strict. I have done power curls at 185 3x3. I rarely train biceps directly these days. I will get back to it since I am developing some imbalance between my bi's and tri's.
LOL!!! Fucker. Change coming real soon lol!!!Nice avatar [emoji106] now change it [emoji14]

Ahaha this guyDone.
I'm a bitch and afraid to curl heavy. I feel like I'm gonna tear my bicep.
I can do 5x5 100lbs. Probably can do more, but there's no point.
Everyone is different-depends on fiber type.
My tri's only grow with heavy weight, low reps. Over 20 years of training I've come to this conclusion . If I go above 10 reps with lighter weights, I get nothing, if I go heavy for 6 I get growth.
Same for chest-heavy, low reps work better for me.
