TRT - Does anyone regret doing it?

Only thing i regret is the time i tried to go back natty. Fuck that. Were men and test is best.:)
Lol I love this quote. Test is deff best an I haven't ever heard a single soul who has regretted their trt lifestyle, well maybe the whole jabbin a pin in your ass for the rest of your life thing but still no regrets :) As long as everything stays in check while on trt than who wouldn't wana live a more active an productive life??? I know I do an I also wana feel like a teenager for as long as possible ;)

I agree. Sometime the thought of pinning for the rest of my life gets overwhelming but then i remember how tired, lethargic, low libido & irritable I was before starting. Its like opening a door to a much clearer life.

One year this month!
Gained a nice amount of strength, and some mass. More gains than I've ever seen.
Still working out my protocol as libido is up and down, but I've also just recently added hcg and dhea along with the test with no AI.
No regrets and looking forward to finely tuning the protocol.

Preach brother @Skull preach!

Sometimes I do this thing where I wonder if I made the right choice. Usually when I wake up to start my day and my thoughts are going. I started TRT with natural natty levels in the mid 400's but was not feeling great. Anyhow, so I questions it at time. I awaken, notice my rock hard erection, then get up and look at myself in the mirror and the miraculous transformation, a body most 25 year olds would envy today and say, "nah, no regrets." Of course I'm a lifestyle guy, I do HGH and all the supplements and monitor everything. Lots of tweaking at first, trial and error and a few bumps in the road, but no regrets. Any issues that come up and I'm right on it, researching and fixing.

I'm prone to panicking about being reliant on test for life and the government pulling some bs and making it impossible to get. So with that in mind I come off once in awhile. So far I've been able to recover to low 400's. Go awhile, realize I feel way better on trt, start up again, and repeat.

Feeling like a teeny bopper myself and in two months a 3/4 inch gain on my biceps doesn't hurt my feeling at all. No regrets.

49 years old and about 3 years into trt. I think I spent most of the last 20 years with low T and all sorts of other health problems. I wish I'd figured out my health issues and got on trt many years sooner.

Injecting testosterone every 5 days is really not that inconvenient. What's it take maybe two minutes?

Yeah this is what scares me... All of us guys with levels in the 400's are gonna get cut off eventually
You'll have to keep a 5 year buffer supply handy for such an occasion!
I too fear being at the mercy of others decisions and rules...

Never ... $$$
Exactly. That's why in that study you posted they talk about how men are getting put on the protocol without presenting the correct condition, hypogonadism if I remember correctly. It's always about the money, unless it's for the booty. Which one could argue could be as good as gold....

I woke up to piss last night and I felt like I needed restraints to hold my dick down while I pissed. That isn't normal as we get older, it's nice to know it works and I dont regret it

"After 1 yr, 80–85% of men discontinue TRT." Marketing and Testosterone Treatment in the USA

IF this statement is accurate (and I highly doubt it is) it's due to the medical providers who are suppling the "therapy" not giving a flying shit about the clients. Typical "therapy" consists of the crap doctor sending fat, low T guy home with a bottle of T and telling him to come back in 6 months. He will fail and likely not feel any better, if not worse. Hormones are complex. Many labs and tweaking of things are required to get things dialed in and get the dude feeling good. Adjustments are often needed. Few doctors give a shit enough to do this for their patients. This why those who study, do their research and yes, self prescribe, typically fair much better than those who go the "legal" route.

It's pure BS too. I've done both. I went and spent thousands on doctors who just did the above. After three years of that shit, I took the matter into my own hands, which has included three years of my own research, trial and error and responsibly adjusting things. I feel better than I have in all my life.

So this is why 80-85% quit. It the doctors who do not care to properly treat their clients.
