Calf shape

I was looking at my calves in the mirror today after a decent leg day yesterday and thought they were shaped weird. So, of course, I googled images of calves and confirmed that they do seem to have an odd development. I'm attaching a pic for reference. THESE ARE NOT MY CALVES, just an image screenshot from google.

Am I doing something wrong for calves to cause an inbalance or is is just my genetics for calves? Can I change angles, toes in or out to work different angles?Screenshot_20171122-135322.png

A little advice here ....if your gonna sell a car on Craigslist , take a pic of YOUR car not someone elses that kinda looks like it . Same thing with body pics . Show your calves, not someone elses... ~Ogh

I'll get my wife to snap a pic when I get home. Hard to take a calf selfie.

Thank you. I googled muscular calf image and 29 out of 30 images didn't show one muscle being way longer than the other so I thought maybe I was doing something wrong creating a problem.

My left calf looks way different than my right side . But then all the muscles are that way , triceps , biceps , delts . They all look slightly different left from right but not enough to standout . Subtle differences....

Thanks. Now I just need to work on size for my legs. I finally broke down and joined a gym that has enough equipment to train my legs properly. My free gym at work only has a smith machine for squats and a leg press machine. Everything else I can get by and figure out a way to get the work in except legs.

You have good calf genetics, it's usually all about insertion points and you have low insertion points which means you can get your calves a lot larger. Those photos you see online are probably normal looking calves, I'd say yours are better than average genetics

Ummmm.. You can build huge legs with just a smith machine and leg press.... Just saying....

You can do calf raises on the Smith and on the leg press, and I do them that way as my calves need more weight for them to grow and I got those fat boy calves :(

Bro I agree with everyone they look great. Different people have different shaped muscles all around... all about genetics. Could be your attatchment of muscle and knee and ankle joints being higher or lower... you can do a lot to affect your shape and size but this is genetic bro and looks great.

If you are not happy on the other hand you can always get implants like that kid did on MTV years ago and order dominos for weeks in a hotel room hahaha. Keep at it bro!!! Go on vaca and get a tan!!!
