Trump Timeline ... Trumpocalypse

Sometime on October 19, presumably in between chugging Diet Cokes, President Donald Trump signed an absentee ballot for the New York City mayoral election. We don’t know who he voted for, but we do know that he got one very crucial thing wrong: his dang birthday.

The New York Daily News reports that, upon reviewing his ballot application, they found he listed his birthday as July 14, 1946. He was in fact born on June 14, because of course he’s a Gemini.

Meanwhile, Melania Trump reportedly didn’t sign her ballot envelope, Ivanka didn’t mail hers until Election Day, and Jared Kushner didn’t bother mailing his in at all. Great work all around, team.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — The Senate election in Alabama on Tuesday is not just about the choice between Doug Jones and Roy Moore. It’s also about a voter suppression campaign that may well sway the result of a close race.

In 2011, Alabama lawmakers passed a photo ID law, ostensibly to combat voter fraud. But “voter impersonation” at polling places virtually never happens. The truth is that the lawmakers wanted to keep black and Latino voters from the ballot box. We know this because they’ve always been clear about their intentions.

A state senator who had tried for over a decade to get the bill into law, told The Huntsville Times that a photo ID law would undermine Alabama’s “black power structure.” In The Montgomery Advertiser, he said that the absence of an ID law “benefits black elected leaders.”

The bill’s sponsors were even caught on tape devising a plan to depress the turnout of black voters — whom they called “aborigines” and “illiterates” who would ride “H.U.D.-financed buses” to the polls — in the 2010 midterm election by keeping a gambling referendum off the ballot. Gambling is popular among black voters in Alabama, so they thought if it had remained on the ballot, black voters would show up to vote in droves.

Photo ID laws may seem innocuous. For many of us, it might be easy to take a few hours off from work, drive to the nearest department of motor vehicles office, wait in line, take some tests, hand over $40 and leave with a driver’s license that we can use to vote. But this requires resources that many rural, low-income people around the country simply do not have.

Even if Trump were to fire Mueller, the political fallout would be to Trump's detriment. The only reason Mueller was appointed special prosecutor is because Trump fired Comey. Had Trump not fired Comey, the investigation into collusion with the Russians would not have proceeded so quickly.

Do you believe the investigation would end if Trump fires Mueller?
it should end, it’s been investigated for over 18 months and there’s no evidence of collusion

No evidence that has been released to the public you mean. I guarantee that Mueller has a mountain of evidence of collusion, plus mail fraud, wire fraud, tax fraud, etc. Just wait, the evidence will come out, I can assure you.

If that were even remotely true it certainly would of leaked by now. Partisan delusions in full display. So leaks are happening about non collusion and minor acts but the biggest news doesn't? Please, if they had anything at the moment it would have leaked. That is about the only thing that is guaranteed.

Yeah via " Twitter " right? Lmao

Just about every single time something Mueller has or is doing it leaks. Do you really think if they had any collusion or bombshell it wouldn't of leaked by now? It's just nonsense to think otherwise. Then again I'm trying to speak common sense to the nonsensical.

Disagree. Only minor leaks have occurred. Remember Papadopolous’s guilty plea? He plead guilty in July, but wasn’t revealed to public until November. This NEVER leaked. During the meantime, Papad was cooperating with investigators and probably wearing a wire, as he was in touch with Trump associates.

You do know that Mueller is a longtime republican and appointed by GW Bush as director of FBI? Comey is also a republican and donated to McCain and Romney campaigns. Not exactly partisan, they’re just looking for truth my man.

If you’ve lost sleep worrying about the growing power of the alt-right — that shadowy coalition that includes white nationalists, anti-feminists, far-right reactionaries and meme-sharing trolls — I may have found a cure for your anxiety.

Just try using its websites.

In recent months, as sites like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook have cracked down on hate speech and barred several high-profile conservative users, the alt-right made a declaration of technological independence from Silicon Valley. Hard-right activists vowed to create their own versions of these digital services, on which all views would be welcome, no matter how crude or incendiary.

More than a dozen “alt-tech” companies have now emerged, each promising a refuge from political correctness and censorship. There is Gab, a kind of alt-Twitter social network that began last year, whose early adopters included prominent figures like Milo Yiannopoulos and Andrew Anglin, the founder of the neo-Nazi Daily Stormer website. There is WrongThink (alt-Facebook), PewTube (alt-YouTube), Voat (alt-Reddit), Infogalactic (alt-Wikipedia) and GoyFundMe (alt-Kickstarter). There is even WASP.love, a dating site for white nationalists and others “wishing to preserve their heritage.”

Recently, I spent several days testing a number of these alt-tech services. I created accounts, explored their features and interfaces, and interviewed users of each site about their experiences. (With my wife’s permission, I even created a WASP.love profile and advertised myself as a New York journalist looking to interview lovelorn white supremacists. Oddly, I got no takers.)

What I found on these sites was more pitiful than fear-inspiring. Sure, some alt-tech platforms were filled with upsetting examples of Nazi imagery and bigoted garbage. But most were ghost towns, with few active users and no obvious supervision. As technology products, many are second- or third-rate, with long load times, broken links and frequent error messages. A few had been taken offline altogether.

It would have leaked out by now he has nothing. because there was no collusion.

Fair enough, as we will go nowhere on this.

Please explain this one: Why has Trump been so soft on Russia? Every intelligence agency has determined that Russia interfered in our election, which Trump does not believe. Every member of republican controlled Congress (except two) voted in July to implement new sanctions on Russia as a result of the election interference. Trump signed, but has not yet enforced. Further, Russia is our adversary and has been since the Cold War (and before). Every other administration has recognized this. So, why do we have a Pres that is so soft on Russia?
