Treadmill brand for home?

What do you guys recommend or have had good luck with brand wise? I would like to start doing some fasted cardio in the mooring after I wake, and going to the gym quick enough is not an option. Thanks.

I had a Proform that lasted me a good 15 years with a lot of running. I currently own a Sole for the last 2 years and it seems pretty nice and the warranty and customer support is great.

Join a gym and use their machines bc within a couple months chances are the treadmill will be collecting dust, and that means A LOT of money down the drain.

Well at least that’s the destiny for the overwhelming majority of in house buyers.

i never owned a treadmill so i wouldnt know but I would say save your money an run outside but whatever ur tryna do i hope it works out an u reach ur goal

Actually that’s a point cited by many at home treadmill buyers the “four wall view” sucks in no time.

But I’d suggest an elliptical runner
over a treadmill as the former is low impact and allows for a more complete upper and lower body work out.

Finally expect to pay at least 2K
or rest assured it will become a broken piece of junk collecting dust.

I bought a Horizon brand for $800. My wife and daughter use it but both weigh less 115lbs. I dont think it would hold up to a man running on it. The good one are $2k+ like Doc said.

LOL. That's funny, because the wife bought a stationary bike for her and her daughter to use. When i put it together, i said "this thing better not be a coat rack in two weeks." Yep, it's a coat rack now. :D

I also had a Proform that I picked up at a garage sale and had it for 4 years (well taken care of) until I sold it as I moved. Can't go wrong with that brand.

Another brand is Weslo...my niece has one and she loves it. As she's heavyset (200lbs) the one she has has held up well.

The problem with ANY of these devices; the use must parallel
or exceed their cost, AND based upon existing evidence that’s RARELY the case.

-Some folk NEED to get out of their home as precursor to exercise

- And if certain responsibilities disallow gym visits, placing a device in the home does NOT change those responsibilities

- Some want to believe a TV or
sponsored video will motivate them to exercise - nope, as they all become another boring four wall distraction

- If someone won’t make the time
to visit a gym and exercise for 20 mins, an in home device CANT remedy the number one exercise obstacle, a lack of DESIRE / MOTIVATION

- save you money and go on a nice vacation, at least the memories will last forever, and that’s a lot longer than the life of an exercise device

Oh for sure the fact so many of the devices can be purchased used is itself prophetic.

But I would agree, purchasing a used HIGH END model is preferable since you’ll definitely get more bang for the buck

Thanks for the feedback, I do have a membership to a gym and currently go 4 days a week, but I would like to do cardio 5 days a week and 3 out of those 5 I would like to split my cardio from my weightlifting. I have to get up for work anywhere from 2:30-4:30 am so going to the gym isn't an option at those times, but using a treadmill for 30-45minutes fasted is very possible.
