Even if floyd didn't duck manny,floyd would out class him in a fight,i hate floyd personality but he has skills but to the casual boxing fan its boring style! Its the sweet science floyd dose it great!

IMO That's what has changed in boxing. Sweet science is outweighing fight essence.

Yea that was pretty cool too, got to see how different fighting styles matched up against each other. Whether or not today’s fighters are more skilled it’s not the same.

Oh they definitely are light years ahead in skill now. Tito Ortiz vs Ken shamrock proved that without a doubt. Passing of the torch so to speak and they have only gotten better and better. The old UFC was just more fun to watch.
No offense @Fitfemale31 im old fashioned and not a huge fan of women fighting each other. I’m not against it either I’m just not a fan.

Not to.mention, Vegas is Floyd's hometown... A decision would never go against him. Manny had to ko him and hadn't scored a ko in years prior to that fight. Prime Manny wins man. Marquez stopped Manny in the fourth fight with one great timed counter... Manny won the other fights pretty soundly i thought minus 1 that was close .. it's different when u fight a guy so many times .

It was so much better back in the 90s, I remember as a kid my brother and I would go to the video store and rent the fights on vhs. Tank was fun to watch, that Hawaiian guy he knocked out was ~120lbs heavier than him too.

My old man would take us every Saturday morning when we weren't playing ball to Block Buster and rent the tapes for us. Those were the good days. I wanted my Tris to look just like Ken Shamrocks.

That's only because the new commentators have replaced the real commentators who called the fight as it was. It may not be as reliable being computer software, but it's more reliable than these paid judges who are even more bias.

Even Floyd couldnt make the weight, he just paid the fine. I think floyd still would have won the fight regardless but not have picked him apart so bad. Floyd played a lot of games like this with catch weights and what not later in his career.
