Another website, in the same niche was also hit when I was hit. They are still completely down. PMED you, as It's not my place to say who they are publicy.



The two of us have spoken, and we've come to the same conclusion regarding who is behind the attack.

DDOS attacks are expensive - especially when they end up going on for more than a day. So given that the other site that was targeted has no affiliation with us, but are in the same niche, it's very logical that a competitor would be doing this.

Haters gonna hate eh! That sucks guys.. Hopefully you get it back to normal soon.

i would too, but even without, i don't doubt it. This "industry" is full of fucking scumbags. We've had 3 sources (that i can remember) that got hacked and put out of business.

Hey everyone. So here is the situation.

Currently our site is being attacked by a competitor with DDOS attack. For those that are unaware, a DDOS attack is basically a bunch of bots that are sent to the site to overwhelm the severs to that the site goes down. It can cost up to $30-40/hour, so they're dishing out a good amount of $ for this. I am pretty certain who is behind this, but I am not one to play dirty, so I will not reveal them. Though It's quite a low blow...but I guess you know you're doing something right when competitors try to take you down.

With that being said, please know that we are doing everything we can and that my hosting/security company are both working on getting things back up. The site is back up at the moment, but may go down again - as we have not been able to block the attack completely. Though I am confident shortly that the attack will be completely mitigated.

Orders make take an extra day or so to ship and responses via email may be a tad slow.

Current priority is to have all outstanding orders shipped asap and completely mitigate the attack.

No it’s not bots. No it doesn’t cost anything to do. Literally done it myself at 16 years old. For just 5 seconds though... because I don’t like the FBI knocking on my door. But I could have done it for as long as I like... FOR FREE!!!!!!

Your server lies outside the US so you don’t have the natural protection of the FBI to look into this for you. So you are at the mercy of your shitty website that can’t even stop a DDOS attack on it.

But cool attempt at marketing your business like you are some hot commodity the competitors are trying to take out. This could literally be a child who’s bored at home.

I believe you’re thinking of an old dos attack known as a ping flood, not really effective anymore as it’s quite easy to defend against.
