Voting is a waste of time now. When is the last time any politician has actually represented the people ? When is the last time a politician has upheld they’re Oath to the Constitution ? I teach Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering...only thing I am trying to indoctrinate are the fundamental laws of the universe and how to apply them to design and analyze engineering systems...

I didnt say in my statement we need to start a revolution. I am trying to explain my reasoning for a smaller government with less control over our lives. The government needs to shrink. I never understood democrats who were not happy with the government but wanted them to have more control of our lives and take more of our money.

When the government does not fear the populous and has total control over you and your life you lose and cannot get that back. The point being when the government fears the people, they will be more cautious about their decisions. It's not about taking down an F-16, it's about being able to stand up to tyranny. You are a smart man, historically speaking guns were taken from the citizens by their governments before genocides and mass killings for a reason. I am a law abiding citizen that would like to be able to defend myself and family from others. Criminals have guns and to think making them all disappear is idealistic.

I just dont understand why we cant follow the constitution.

You don't have to shoot down f-16s brother, most of those Pilots would refuse to drop bombs on American civilians in the streets. Most of them are part of the 3% most of the military and law enforcement is part of the 3% . If there is a revolution it will take only 3% of the population to overturn the government. You are definitely part of the 97% but I cant fault you for that. It's just how you are wired.... probably from your raising as a child. My kids are III% through and through, its just the way they were raised.

Seriously though, I'm still all for teaching you some basic up drills on the AR platform. I even have an upper chambered in .22 we can start with. My kids started with a .22, nothing wrong in that to learn the basics brother. I promise it'll be enlightening like no other experience. It'll be fun too.

I take progressives to mean something totally different than what it may have meant before. To me the progressives are all about a one world government and the easiest way to do that is to destroy the sovereignty of a nation. Socialism leads to communism, which makes way for total authoritarianism.

Ah well I think we are in agreement that both extremes, left/right, end up with the same result..a total lack of freedom or the appearance of freedom. I’ve always looked at it as more of a circle than a left/right line or wing, eventually they come together to become the same thing.
