Hey guys I'll be honest, I'm looking for a bit of a spoon because I don't want to get the wrong stuff or waste money.

Looking for a simple bottle top filter set up. I want to set it up with a septa cap and then go to presealed vials. I don't have a clean room or desire to make that box with the gloves lol.

Could someone throw me a bone and link me to what I need? I found a glass media bottle and septa cap, great. .. But they're 33mm and the filters I keep finding are 45mm. I find the autofill ss sterile bottle top filter and bottle combo, sweet super convenient I don't have to sterilize it.... Can't find a 45mm septa for it.

Not doing a massive amount of stuff, just enough test that I don't want to sit there all afternoon with a syringe filter

I have 45 and 33 media bottles and bottle top filter usually fit both sizes. The part on the filter that actually seals with the glass can accommodate both. I could be mistaken but I think you'll be fine.

Awesome man, that makes more sense then. I've never seen them in person so I wasn't 100% sure how it all comes together.

So I searched on ebay and found this. Does this sound right? I have a feeling that's the wrong type of membrane because of the solvents

Whatman GVS Maine Manufacturing ZapCap Cellulose Regenerated Bottletop Filter Unit, Nylon Membrane, 0.2 Micron, 500mL Volume

Yea you want to have a nylon membrane.

Hmm, alright. You've never steered me wrong before so I'll trust you on it lol
I had the same question a few years back. It comes up every now and again but the general public seems to always say the same thing about it. I've used them before and have never had an issue.
