Fuck y'all, i'm going to the gym!

Unless I’m really fucked up I try to train. 99% of the time I feel better immediately.

But good job everyone for bringing measles back. Solid.
Hardcore to train when sick but when I have a cold I keep sanitizer handy so I can wipe down what I touch at the gym.
For flu I stay home ;)

I would like to personally thank you for this. I am a germaphobe. Yet, I work in a hospital, go figure.

Same. Even with minor injuries, i still lift. Lighter, of course, but i have to do something. Even if it's light weight, high rep.

Last time i had a head cold, during training was about the only time it felt better. Maybe it's from the amount of focus on training and forgetting about the cold?

I go because it weeds out the posers. Only the dedicated still go when they’re sick.

I go home every night and wrap myself with small pox blankets, and I get my pins from the needle exchange.

Cause I'm a masculinified male, damn it.

Did train for like eight months a couple years ago with what I called a cold. Turns out it was pneumonia in both my lungs.

Only time I've ever had to let the bar go during a squat. That's when I got checked out.

In retrospect, getting winded having a two minute conversation should have been the real tip-off though.

I need to be more careful with training and sickness moving forward, I had the flu about 4-5 weeks ago and still trained twice a day, doing cardio, and eating minimal calories, and about 4 weeks ago (can't recall) woke up in the hospital and had to spend an entire week there due to encephalitis.

More than likely the cause was the flu and not letting it heal, inflammation from the flu was pooling as water and pressing against the frontal lobe of my brain.

Spinal tap, MRI, Ultrasound, some test where they shoved a swab all the way up my nose (fuck that).

I'll be honest.

I'm still going to train when I'm sick.
