I tore 3 rotator cuffs at once benching in Aug 2018. 2 were partial but the supraspinatus which runs from shoulder blade to humerus was ripped off humerus. Bled and bruised badly, doc thought I tore pec but didnt. I can lift pretty well still and it doesnt hurt 90% of the time. I cant bench to my chest just board presses and I had to narrow my grip.Last time I went to surgeon he could no longer push my hand so he thinks my other muscles compensated for it. Anybody have this surgery done. I'm debating getting it done. I had no arthritis in my shoulders last time I went but something clicks, runs every once in a while. Usually something simple with my arm out and twisting.

Yes, full thickness. It doesn't affect my work or home life but once in a while it'll catch. So not too bad on the recovery then? The only other problem I have is when I sleep on my arm under the pillow. If I try to just pull it out from under my body without taking my weight off it, I can FEEL my humerus pulling out from my shoulder.

I would say recovery is long, but not bad. Being in a sling for six weeks sucked, and sleeping in a chair, but overall never had much pain.

I should mention that since the tear will never fully heal by itself, will never reattach, you will most likely tear it more over time. The bigger the tear the longer the recovery time, so it's better to get it fixed sooner than later IMO.
