My only real criticism is to set your lats before you pull. Make sure you’re braced as well. I won’t comment on stance width because that’s subjective. Good job tho dude.

I am surprised as well, I think it was more mental, something must have got into my head. That looked really easy, I'm really surprised you missed 10lbs more.
Have you ever tried a more narrow stance? I think you'd be able to bring your arms in a bit more narrow and shorten your range of motion, plus have more power off the floor.
Wherever you decide to place your feet, if you grip the bar and straighten your thumbs, move your hands in/out until the tip of your thumb is in the middle of your shin—that’s perfect hand placementI am surprised as well, I think it was more mental, something must have got into my head.
I havent tried a narrower stance, I definitely will try it next time. Right now my outside of my shin is just touching the ring and my grip is about 1/2 to 3/4 of inch on the other side of the ring.
Yup that's about the placement for short thumbs...Wherever you decide to place your feet, if you grip the bar and straighten your thumbs, move your hands in/out until the tip of your thumb is in the middle of your shin—that’s perfect hand placement
Actually correction on foot placement. My outside shin is just touching where the smooth meets the knurling, and my hand placement is 1/2 to 3/4 inch other side of that. My thumb if extended out is mid shin. Not at the ring that's where I am on Sumo lolI am surprised as well, I think it was more mental, something must have got into my head.

This is why I wanted to post so badly to get some criticism on technique so I can correct itArms perpendicular to the floor would be minimum range of motion.

I will try that next week all be it lighter.Like @NovaFlex said stance width is kind of individual. Just a hunch, but I think more narrow would be better for you. I could be wrong. Try about six inches between your heels next time, toes pointed out, not 45 degrees, but like 25-30 degrees. Looked like your hips didn't come up before your pull, so that's good. Just flex your lats, stay tight, and pull.
If not they say a good rule of thumb for deadlift stance width is pretend like you're gonna do a standing high jump and however wide you'd go for that is a good place to start.
Next video you take get some directly from the side. You're looking for shoulder position in relation to the bar when initiating the pull, shin position, back angle, and hips coming up. Probably other stuff I'm not thinking of right now, but it's a start. Looking at that video your hip position was good though.
@Perrin Aybara a question with my grip. If I come in closer in grip, it will be half if not all on the smooth not on the knurling, is this not going to be issue?
Ok like said I will play around with Stance and Grip width on DL day next week... thanks for the helpMine is partially on the smooth for sumo and it's never been an issue. It's entirely on the knurling for conventional though.

Agreed, no I dont believe my hands hit my knees. I know when I sumo my right thumb gouges my thighClean rep, you got at least 445 but you probably have to start pulling more explosively. Rip that shit off the floor. Also do your hands hit your knees? That could present an issue
Love it
