Neewbiest's first cycle log

Yep still increasing lifts at the moment! Had a good heavy back day this morning and increased a couple of the lifts by either weight or reps. Also pretty stoked as after my w/o this morning I stepped on the scale and crossed the 190.4lbs mark! I'm sure it'll will still fluctuate but I hit the goal I set.
Nice job on the weight, weight gain won't cease completely when myostatin gets higher. But it just gets slower.

My ab definition is no longer there. I wanna keep getting bigger but I don't want to put on more fat and have another long cut to drop it.
Please think, I will learn how to eat so I barely gain any fat. You don't want to get into that other trap I was talking about seriously.

So many guys do 2-3 cycles but only get the results of "1 cycle" because they don't eat enough. You don't want to be that guy.

You can burn the fat when you are on your cruising dose. I will talk to you then about your macros and diet.
If you live a bodybuilding lifestyle you should have a six pack year round more or less. Diet is year round.

Yep definitely gonna need to dial it in especially after this cycle ends. I'll have to admit that the last 2 or 3 weeks I've eaten a little dirty to get some extra calories. I really want to learn how to dial in the macros to cut fat instead of just cutting a shit ton of calories just to drop some weight. I have no problem eating to get the proper amount of calories to grow, so at this point I think it's just adjust macros for what works best.
 
No just I might eat an extra bagel with butter that day and or cook a cheese omelette with 4 eggs and bacon which is pretty fattening. My fat Grams have hit the 150-170 a few days.
Why are fats bad?

Do your best to explain. If not, say IDK. I know it is a difficult question.

Fats are actually really good sources of energy, especially in a cycle.

You don't want tons of saturated fats but the poly unsaturated are great sources of energy that you should use much more.

Carbs are what make people fat, not fat. Counter intuitive eh?
I think the notion that fat makes you fat comes from there are 9 calories per gram of fat and only 4 per carb/protein.

Well also people associate fat with fat well because of the word... Fat... I know, sometimes I am a genius. ;)

Well I start my cruise dose this coming Wednesday. I could push the cycle out to 16 weeks but I don't want to push it being my first cycle.
 
16 weeks is way too long, I wouldn't go past 12 weeks honestly no matter what.

Well I appreciate all the advice you've given me up to this point! I'm all ears for what you think my macros and calories should be to burn this fat off during my cruise. I have no issues eating and adjust my diet to what is necessary to gain the desired result. I would love to be 205-220lbs and lean someday, but for now I'd lije to lean out at the weight I am now and grow from there. What are your thoughts?

Stick to protein and fats for your calories, minimal carbs. Start at a deficit of 500 calories and see how hard you can go!

No problem!

For a bulking cycle myostatin usually peaks around 8 weeks. So then your gains will slow down and it is best to stop and let your body rest.

It's a lot of work for your body to build all that muscle!

Glad all of my neewb questions helped someone else out! I took a few needed days off the beginning of this week. But I'm back at it the last 3 days. I owe my log some updates. The way I see it @Metric is if you constantly chase the end result you'll never be happy, but if you enjoy the process, that's what gets you to the gym everyday and ultimately makes you happy. Nothing to do cycling questions but I'd thought I'd throw out some weekend food for thought.
 
Was following along on this log, great info, thinking of doing this for my next cycle. Do we have any followup conclusion at all? Final stats? How much was kept etc? Leaving us hanging here man lol

lol sorry just been a busy holiday season! So I feel my first cycle was successful. I started out at 156lbs in July and started the cycle at around 168lbs or so. At the end of it I was at 190lbs. Since being off at around 5 weeks now, I've only lost 5lbs and I'm holding steady at 185lbs for the last three weeks. I had no real “noticeable” negative effects while on cycle other than some back acne, but when I think back it actually started about a month after going on TRT. I think it just increased once on cycle with all the elevated hormones. Currently I'm just on my TRT dose of 100mg once a week which keeps me at around 500ng/dL. I think instead of doing a cut while cruising, I'm going to maintain what size I did put on for the next 7 weeks, and do another bulk cycle before cutting for summer.

Good to hear man great results! What were your final dosages? Was it the 500 t/400npp? Also i know you were pinning m/w/f/s, but then the next week was it t/thur/sat? I was thinking of just pinning m/w/f every week.

Well I ended up going back to 400 test and 300 NPP about a week after increasing. At the slightly higher dose I noticed my heart rate was increased a little. I felt fine, but figured what was an extra 100mg going to do that my starting dose wasn't going to do over the next 8 weeks. I figured the risk/reward ratio wasn't big enough to push it, especially for my first cycle. I may go with higher doses my second cycle, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there.

I was thinking of doing 500 test/300npp just to make dosing more equal. Did u have any erm uh dick problems? I was also thinking of running proviron to combat this/have the dht in there.
