WHY ????? Because the government considers everyone sick, if you have symptoms you are sick, if you have no symptoms you are asymptomatic sick! LOL. now a virologist in my country say that after 3 of May, the doctors go to the houses to check if there are positive person inside the family, and then he wants to isolate the positives and take them to other places ... in my family we are 3 members, and from 8 March, when started lockdown, we have not had any type of symptoms, by May 3 almost 2 months will have passed, and according to them after 2 months locked at home should I still be positive ?? this is ridiculous and surely this fucking virologist say this bullshit just to terrify population! this is just a sanitary dictatorship! In my country every year dead 650.000 person and every year 50.000 person dead due to lung problems. 80.000 person due to smoking. 22.000 person due to covid is ridiculous, and now every person dead due to covid19, no one person dead anymore with cancer, with heart attack, ictus, diabetes... all people in the hospital dead with covid19 LOL

I personally believe covid was possibly here before March. And I'm in agreement we need to open up soon, though it's tough how to stage it. Presidents plan looks ok. Thankfully i live in a state with a Conservative governor in agreement with reopening soon and not in somewhere like Michigan. I know its bad there but for people to actually protest should tell you something.

Talked to a friend yesterday who recently talked to a good friend of his. He said his friends work just tested all of their employees, and 4 tested positive for covid with ZERO symptoms. Until we can test everyone since asymptomatic carriers are real, gonna be tough to fully contain it.

Not to speak of the fact that supposedly, according to ressearchers, even when you speak gaseous clouds will still be suspended in the air for some significant time, so it really doesn’t fucking matter being distanced or not.

I have 2 people close to me in the medical profession, both nurses. In those circles it is believed that the disease was present in our area in January. That would make sense with the rate of infection that followed after mass gatherings that were happening in February.

It may have saved lives in the interim. Let’s say social distancing “works” to flatten the curve but that curve gets stretched over 6 months. The same number of people end up dying.

The death rate is the death rate that doesn’t change.

Death rate of 0.5% means when there’s 10 million cases, unfortunately 50,000 die. But the number of cases will drop quick in Sweden because everyone got it quickly. So zero cases will mean 0 deaths in the next couple weeks to a month.

US on the other hand will continue to see the same number of deaths for a longer period of time. That’s all that “flattening the curve” did - it just dragged it out. We’ll continue to have new cases. Social distancing didn’t “beat” the virus.
