Stocking up on some more Test and more Abombs. Want to make sure I got a bunch to keep going and some drol once I get back at lifting
 
So I asked the store last week if I could upgrade to the heavier rack and not do the delivery in lieu. They said they heavier rack was 3 to 12 weeks out. Anyways he emailed me tonight said the heavier rack is expected in early May am I still interested to upgrade. I asked when he expected my Oly bar in and he said with the heavier rack. So decided to upgrade rack, and wait for it. Makes sense to me. Will go pick up what is in which sounds like bench, collars, all my plates, and the Safety squat bar. I guess I can just lift plates for a couple more weeks, but will be happier and a little safer
 
I find the youth work more on reps. Not many lift heavy like us. Unless they are sports orientated. I can't do the reps like most do. I find that low reps and heavy weight is way less damaging on my joints.
 
Well here is what showed up today... can do some work with it. Expect Rack, Oly bar, the 35s, the 10s, DB handles, in 2 weeks or less.

Not a fan of the bench but it gets me started. I will buy a good flat bench for pressing this will become my incline one later. Fucking slippery as a fuck too.

The SSB is a joke, no padding so bought some, the handles are not equal distance by about 1/8 inch. And short for a lot of plates and only rated to 500. So a new one in future too.

Got bumpers as all I could for 45s damn 3 inches thick.....just bought the steel for my plate tree and now need to buy more pipe to accommodate these plates lol20200424_155743.jpg 20200424_155740.jpg 20200424_155729.jpg
 
Planned out this cut pretty good. Weight this am was 206, down another 3. I think I will hit 200 or slightly under before all my equipment gets here. Then I can drop most of the cardio, eat more, and get stronger again lol. Damn lifting the SSB bar to bring into the house felt heavy lol
 
Decided I wont log my workouts per se until I get the rest of my equipment, however tried chest and triceps today with what I have.

Flat bench
Flat flies
Incline hex press
Across chest raises

Skull crushers
OH extensions
Kickbacks

All high reps(15-25) 3 to 4 sets. Extra work pressing with SSB lol... pick up off the floor, into thighs, kick up lean back hope the handles in right spot.

At least this gets me semi back to lifting. Due to lighter weight higher rep work I will follow a more BB bro split for now. Once everything is here back to Sheiko.
 
Been thinking about these damn 45lb bumpers. Can fit 3 a side without collars on the SSB, 2 if I want collars. The oly bar I should be able to fit 5 a side. So emailed and asked if I can swap for the thinner rubber coated which are cheaper. I said I will pay 10 bucks plus return the 8 bumpers for 10 rubber coated. Also said I dont care at this point will eat the 80 bucks and take 8 rubber coated.... not sure how I got bumpers for 45s and rubber coated for the rest
 
That’s the problem I see with the CrossFit style stuff. I’m really wanting the thin calibrated plates.
Definately sounds like June for the other ones and want 10 of them. They will let me it sounds like use the bumpers until the others come in and still return them if I dont beat them up. Waiting for the manager to confirm
 
I'm running into a similar problem with my two 45's and twelve 35's. Low 600's is maxing my bar. I'm gonna have to pick up a few more 45's at some point. Still worth it for $1 a pound though.
 
Its been 5 weeks since my gym closed and I haven't been able to lift. As mentioned some equipment has shown up and this week I have been doing what I can with it waiting for the rest to show.

3 on 1 off bodybuilding style split. Chest/Tri, Back/Bi, Legs/Shoulder. Just finished day 3, and I got to say shit is heavy lol, and awkward making do. Soldier on and be ready to go when the rest gets here.
