I wish Arnold would just shut the fuck up already!

I was more under the impression that sodium fluctuation is more of an issue than consistent intake. Doesn't the body level out at a specific sodium intake once it's consistent?

Pretty much, yes. Certain conditions can make sodium an issue though. But some recent reading I’ve done speaks to the imbalance between sodium and potassium being a much larger issue. Overall I think in general salt gets the shit end of the stick because underlying conditions make it seem like the issue. Keeping sodium intake low is only a bandaid IMO.

just for reference. I’m at several g’s of sodium and potassium a day, but both are dead center “in range.”

Dude.

Sold out years ago when he started the anti-weed bullshit and denied juicing outright before just trying to downplay it.

Yeah politics and a career. Except he's not kayfabing anyone at this point.
Didn't he decriminalize weed when he was in office?

The Moscone Act in 75 dropped possession under an ounce to a misdemeanor and $100 fine.

Sen Bill 1449 reduced posession further to an infraction, no mandatory appearance or criminal record. Arnold did sign the bill.

Despite being a bit of a cannabis icon after PI and generally supporting legalization, he's made many anti-use statements in the last twenty years.

At best his support is backhanded or his anti-use rhetoric disingenuous. I can't respect either.

Well I mean you can be anti-weed and still be for the legalization of it..

For example take tobacco;
If I personally had to take a stance I would be anti-tabacco, and if I had a platform I would tell people not to smoke it for their own well-being.
But do I think people should be sent to prison for smoking tobacco? No.

So him being "anti-weed" by telling people not to smoke it and him also passing legislation to legalize it are not nessicarily conflicting.
