It had happened to me in the past a few times, that when I was squatting, I had a feeling that I can best describe as a tendon going over a bone, or grinding on a bone, in one or both knees.
It usually went away after a couple of weeks, so I thought it was some kind of inflammation of the tendon that healed on it’s own.
More recently, it began happening again, this time on both knees, and it doesn’t seem to go away.
I also have what seems to be a fluid filled lump on the outside of my right knee, that is more prominent when the knee is bent, but I’m not sure if it’s related.
After reading about IT band syndrome, I’m pretty sure that is what I have.
I have tried to foam roll it, but the pain is unbearable, and I would like to ask if any of you have had this, and how you treated it.
Thanks in advance.
