Didn’t get to finish this workout. Not even close. It took me a lot longer to get through my 7 working sets of flat bench than I thought it would. I was supposed to also do at least another set of dips, plus my usual sets of dumbbell flys, dumbbell lateral raises, hammer curls, and tri pressdowns with the red minis. Even though I didn’t get to finish the workout I did feel stronger today. I didn’t think I would get 11 reps on my AMRAP set of bench because I was feeling pretty gassed but I got it. If I have extra time and am feeling up to it I might add some of those missed exercises on press day or the extra push day.

A bunch of personal shit with family is going on. I am dealing with it the best I can and am doing better than I thought I would while being on blast, but nonetheless, it is obviously better not dealing with stressful shit regardless of what a person is doing. Just have to try and keep in mind only the things/problems/issues I actually have control of and let the other shit roll off the shoulder. I guess something like that is easier said than done. Missed a meal yesterday most likely because of it too. Even though it was a non training day I still feel extremely guilty missing a meal. “Official” weigh-in is tomorrow, but today in the morning I was weighing 198lbs on the dot. Not good, but not the worst either.

Got a couple things going on.... so back pumps weren’t as bad as I thought they would be today. Got 9 today on my AMRAP set today and considering how the previous 6 beltless sets went I am not too upset about it. On the SSB I felt much stronger today and because of the deads prior my quads were pumped. So add the pump on the quads from the deads and then add that my knee sleeves felt tighter and had much more “bounce” out of the hole I was very much tempted to bang out some joker sets of five at 95% and 105% but I restrained myself and stuck to the program.

Sex drive has been noticeably higher however I have been having some nipple sensitivity issues on and off all day today. Weight is higher than thought as well but I also took three massive dumps after weigh in so we will see how that goes in the near future. As I type this my back feels all jacked up from today’s session.

In another two weeks my realization week has me projected to hit 495lbs for at least three reps. At this point I am finding it absolutely necessary to add another 5lbs for an even 500 and try and bang out 5. That would definitely be a rep PR and a highlight of the run. Always wanted 500 for 5 in both squat and deads but at this point it is much more realistic for deads.
 
How do you do front squats with that? I am confused. Turning to Google . . . And there it is, all over the internet. I had never seen this before.

I am assuming you have seen a video of it already. It specifically lets me target the quads and for me has great carryover to my dead and squat. I use “SBD” brand sleeves for both elbow and knee. I was thinking of switching to Mark Bell’s slingshot brand(maybe the “x”) but after the comparisons of those to SBD’s I stuck with the SBD’s. My wrist wraps are MB’s slingshot brand. I prefer them over Elitefts.

Well I wanted to add in some of the dumbbell lateral raises and flat dumbbell flys that I had missed on day #1 but I barely had enough time to finish this workout let alone add more shit to it. I obviously didn’t get to them. Other than that I felt good today. Mood is good, feeling a bit stronger, there is no PIP in any injection sites that have lasted a long time. Body comp seems to be taking a hit but that kind of goes with the territory when trying to add some size. Nipple sensitivity is still on and off since yesterday.

On another note, I have stopped taking redcon total war preworkout and switched to evogen. Ever since switching to that brand I have literally been shitting like three times a day. This has been since day #1 of this week so kind of fucking weird but I can’t seem to pinpoint it to anything other than my preworkout. That is the only variable that has changed recently. Diet(besides the one missed meal), dosing, and ancillaries have all been the same.

I will try to post one of the most recent pics I have taken but they actually kind of look like the previous ones. No real drastic changes can be seen. At least, that is how I am viewing them.

A couple things. I had to cut my workout short. I had some massive back pumps that were just unbearable today. My back felt surprisingly fine on deadlift day and yesterday so I didn’t think it was going to be this bad but holy shit. Everything feels tight body wise right now. My hands feel swollen and I generally have a bloated feeling. My ankles are not swollen though so I guess that is a good thing. I felt much weaker today too after my dumbbell rows. I also used straps for the first time with my dumbbell rows and that was primarily the reason why I was able to crush 3 sets for 15. I was trying to go as long as possible not using straps for these rows but my hands weren’t having it and were starting to rip open.

Bodyweight is up again but not sure if it is from all of the bloat. I will see in a couple days if it remains. If it does, it is a good thing. I haven’t been over 200lbs since the start of this run and previously it was all bloat and water weight because as soon as I cleaned up my diet the weight started to drop.

It just seemed like an “off” day today. I was hoping for a solid week this week because I know that next week I am going to have a whole bunch of work nonsense to deal with and I may have to alter the week a bit. Hopefully everything goes smoothly and there will be no drastic changes for next week, but this past week so far hasn’t been the best.

A lot to cover today. I took the past two days to rest and recover. My meals have been spot on consistent and yet I still lost two pounds. I can’t seem to figure it out. Maybe water weight? At this point I have no fucking clue. I guess I will see in two days when my next weigh-in is.

Side effect wise: Ok not to be too graphic here but sexual side effects are rearing their fucked up ugly head again. When I start I am rock solid hard and then 20 minutes into it I essentially have to maneuver around a bit to keep it from going soft. This fucking sucks and am trying to figure this the fuck out. This has never happened before but at this point I am glad that my last injection is in two weeks and this run will be over soon. It is getting bothersome, especially when the wifey’s var run is going so well and she is much more hornier than normal because of it. Also, the nipple sensitivity is flaring on and off and am still worried about possible new gyno growth. My hands still have that swollen feeling but only when making a closed fist. I am not sure if I should up my arimidex dose again. I am already taking .5 mgs EOD alongside 20mgs of nolva on the days I don’t take arimidex.(maybe the nolva is bunk?) The good is that I have no mental issues at all and am feeling stronger even though I appear much more bloated than I am used to.

Today’s workout felt great. I felt strong and I felt like I could workout all day. This workout was after shoveling about 5 inches of snow as well and I still managed to PR on incline bench with a joker set of 100% of my training max. I figured I would joker set my accessories this week since next week I go all out on my main lifts. I stopped about a rep or two short on my AMRAP set of incline @265lbs because I knew I was going to go for a joker set and even though I stopped at 1 rep @ 295lbs I definitely had more in the tank. I absolutely without a doubt see 315lbs on incline for a single coming soon. I never did 315 on incline before but I never really focused on that. I was always(and still am) focused on the main lifts. I am hoping to break 365lbs on bench sometime this year.

My diet has been the same except for one meal. I have ran out of Optimum Nutrition’s Pro Gainer and have replaced it with Redcon’s MRE. That is the only change and according to the nutrition label it is a net gain of 30 additional calories. This brand was recommended to me because it is whole food based compared to the other one. After shoveling the snow today and about two hours prior to my workout I had half a serving of this but kept all of my other meals the same so far. I have 3 more meals to consume before the day ends today as I am writing this.

That is it for today. I am hoping to crush the SSB tomorrow after deads. I will also have to change the timing of some meals around because I have a lot of work bullshit to deal with this week and my work hours will not be consistent. This pretty much translates into my workout time will not be consistent and will have to squeeze in whatever I can during those days even on less than optimal sleep.

I've used it. Digests fast and no issues for me.

Like most things like that I get hungry an hour after taking it but its decent IMO.

As for getting hungry an hour later, that would be a plus. My issue now is I feel stuffed all the time and want to take a break from eating, but I am larger than I have ever been, so eating is needed to keep pushing. I was thinking the MRE macros look like one of my meals and might help me keep the calories elevated where I want them even on days when I really don't want to. I could even treat it as a daily extra meal most days, maybe.

Ya that is how I use it. I have it a couple hours before dinner usually and it makes me more hungry than usual for dinner. I too have a lot of issues with getting enough food and feel full all the time.

IMO its a very useful tool and the macros are pretty ideal too, at least for me.

The blueberry cobbler flavor is pretty darn good too.

So far so good. I purchased the oatmeal chocolate chip flavor and haven’t had any problems digestion wise with it yet. It tastes decent, my stomach doesn’t bloat up after I eat it, and I don’t feel disgusting after slamming it down. However, the texture is different. It is not as smooth And feels a bit powdery and/or chalky. I mixed mine with 8 ounces of fat free milk and about 4 ounces of water.
 
I have a couple cycles under my belt and am a 37 year old male on trt. I do not compete but enjoy powerlifting more than anything else lifting wise. I guess my style is somewhat of a “power building” style of training. My personal best were 500lb squat(sleeves), 515lb deadlift, and a 360lb bench at 191lbs bodyweight. I ruptured my tricep and have been trying to build myself back up ever since.
Thinking of the following cycle for 12 weeks but maybe longer and looking to put on some size and strength:

Test cyp @ 525
Mast e @ 420
Deca @ 300

I will also be continuing my trt therapy of hcg at 500ius twice a week unless I can’t control my estro. For some reason, I always have better control of my estro when not running hcg during my blasts

From previous cycle experience I will be dosing arimidex at .5mgs on injection days which would be every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. I have caber on hand from previous tren cycles but never used it. I am hoping to not use it this time around as well and am thinking of possibly using vitamin b6. Never really used it before so I am not sure if I should start it immediately or several weeks into the cycle. Not really sure on how much to run for such a low dose of deca but I want to cover all my bases to have the smoothest cycle possible.
I am currently only on my trt dosing protocol and 30mgs of mk677 as an experiment to see if it alleviates some nagging issues that I am having including my tricep. Looking to blast soon and I do have other compounds available and am open to suggestions but I have never ran deca before so this is what I have come up with.
Thoughts? Suggestions? Insight
